Y/n tried to block the announcers annoying voice as he continued to focus on the game

The other members of Karasuno recognised the voice and those who was there that witnessed the match shifted their gaze towards Y/n who looks like he's not bothered by the annoying screeching of the announcer because of his emotionless expression

“Tch, its that announcer again.” Nishiniya said gritting his teeth

“It's quite surprising seeing him play against his former team mates, could it be because he sees potential in that school that will benefit him? I mean shiratorizawa is a powerhouse and not to mention Ushijima Wakatoshi is there.”

“Ignore him, and focus on the game.” Y/n said to himself as he watched the ball up in the air

Tendo serves and was recieved by Asahi sending it towards Daichi who jumped and slammed the ball but got blocked earning a one touch for shiratorizawa and a free ball

“Y/n!” Shirabu called out and tossed the ball

Y/n ran and jumped, he slammed the ball and was recieved by kageyama who winced in pain once he felt the rubber made contact with his skin

Nishinoya did a libero toss and sent it towards Asahi who slammed the ball and earned them a point, The score was now 20-21 with Karasuno leading

“Woah! Now that's a beautiful teamwork, that number 10 sure is awesome with his jumps, and the Prodigy, his attacks are still the same but powerfu this time ahh this is giving me some sense of nostalgia.”

Y/n watches as Hinata swapped with Yamaguchi, he did a jump float serve and was recieved by Reon

'They're aiming for Ushiwaka.'

As expected, Ushijima was forced to cover for the ball and did a high set

“L/n.” Ushijima called out

Y/n clicked his tongue and went to follow the ball.

Keishin, who was watching the game widened his eyes when he saw Y/n making a run towards the ball

“I didn't think this through, shit.” He cursed, all he could do now was pray that they block Y/n's attack

Y/n's eyes landed on Tsukishima'a hues, the blocker felt a shiver ran down his spine when he saw the serious glint on the spikers eyes

Y/n pushed back his arm and then slammed the ball with forced, Tsukishima winced once his palm made contact with the rubber

It was a if the ball was made out of cement.

“One touch!” Tsukishima yelled

Tanaka dived and recieved the ball before it could touch the floor sending it towards Kageyama.

Kageyama tossed to Tsukishima who's being watch by Kawanishi, once he saw the ball got tossed he jumped and was surprised when Tsukishima didn't

“Wha..?” Tendo asked while raising an eyebrow

Tsukishima slammed the ball and earned them a point, Karasuno have 23 points while Shiratorizawa have 22

Shiratorizawa did a time out and Y/n was being glared at by the coach

“What the hell was that!? What happened to your attacks during the Training camp?” The coach scolded

“I'm sorry.” Y/n whispered while looking down at the floor

“Sorry won't earn us a point, you need to get yourself together! You're strong and has more power than that number 10!” Coach Washijo added

On the karasuno's bench, they could hear the faint yells coming from the Shiratorizawa's bench

“Is Y/n-senpai getting scolded?” Hinata asked while holding the bottle of water Kiyooo gave them

“It seems like it.” Daichi said before taking a sip from his bottle of water

“With your big physiques it should be like this!” Coach Washijo said while making werid hand gestures

“Like more explosive power?” One of them asked

“Exactly! Karasuno's defense has certainly improved in the middle of the match however, even if it's the last ditch of effort..”

“There's no such a thing as a perfect defense.” Ushijima said finishing the coach's words

“L/n, eyes on the game, give it all out and don't let your team mates down.” Coach Washijo said crossing his arms

Y/n rolled his eyes and scoffs but then smirks at his coach who also smirks back

“Don't worry coach, I won't let them down this time.” Y/n said fixing his hair tie

As much as he hates his coach, he sure knows how to riled him up.

The game continues and Yamaguchi was once again serving and this time it touched the net

Hayato managed to save it from falling and sent towards shirabu who tossed to Ushijima who slammed the ball earning them a point

The score was now 22-23 still with karasuno leading.

“Who's receiving?” Yachi asked from the stands while standing between Akiteru and Saeko

“It's L/n..” Saeko said

He did a jump serve and was received by Tanaka who dived in, the ball was off balanced as it went towards Kageyama he tossed it to asahi who got blocked sending the ball back to them

Nishinoya recieved the ball and was against sent to Kageyama who tossed to Tsukishima but missed the ball because it was too high

He reached out his right arm and used it to send the ball towards the other side of the court, it went in and they failed to recieved it.

Karasuno was now on their set point with the score of 24-22.

Y/n furrowed his brows as he wiped the sweat under his chin with the back of his hand while eyeing the setter of karasuno and smirks

'He'll be the first to reach his limit.'
