2: Close Call

Seth: Ok Mom, I'm leaving.

Mother: Ok sweetie, have fun a school!

Seth: Yea yea.

I told her about yesterday. She was happier then I was, not that I really was. I mean, it's just people. I was fine by myself.

Anyways, Cameron wanted me to park in the same place so we could walk together like last time. I said ok and so yea.

This isn't a bad drive really. It's not to far we're traffic is bad and it's nice to have music playing as the windows are open.

I should be close, I think this is the same street. I have no clue, I'll just hope this is it.

I think I'm ok, this is it. Apple Ave, sounds familiar enough. I turn the car in an empty spot and put it in park. I turn to see three guys in my school uniform sitting in front of the house I was parking at. I open my door and get out.

Cameron: Hey Seth! Right on time.

Seth: Good to hear.

Tyler: Well let's start walking.

Cole: Alright.

After we get to the school, Cameron and Cole split from me and Tyler to go to their lockers. I will see Cole in German and everyone else at the end of the day.

My first class is health, and I may say my favorite class. We will mostly watch videos and plus there isn't anyone in this class that will bother me.

I'm actually pretty early, let's hope the teacher doesn't mind. He's pretty chill so I should be fine. I go to the door and look in. I see the teacher sitting at his desk.

Seth: Excuse me Mr. Handly, may I sit?

Mr. Handly: Yea go ahead.

Seth: Ok

At least I can sit. I hate when the teacher makes you sit in the hall and just stand there.

???: Excuse me, c-

Mr. Handly: It's fine, you can sit whenever you guys come here.

???: Oh ok thank you.

Hmm, this person looks familiar. I think we have some classes with each other too. And of course she's in front of me. If I just don't talk it should be fine.

???: Hey I think we have some classes together, what's your name?

Crap, no one else is here so I can't pretend to not hear her.

Seth: Um, I'm Seth.

???: That's a cool name, I'm Luna.

Seth: Th- that's also a cool name.

Luna: Thanks!

Seth: Sorry, b- but what classes do we have together?

Luna: We have this, 3rd, 6th, and 8th.

Wow my last class is filling up.

Seth: That is a lot.

Luna: Yeah right! Hmm, are you new here, I don't remember you last year?

Seth: Yes, I- I'm new here.

Luna: That's a relief, I'd hate to forget someone.

Seth: It's ok. You can't remember everyone.

Luna: Yeah but I'd like to know people. Well anyways, how's it been at this school?

Seth: Ok I guess. A lot but ok.
