"hey mark what's up?" she asked she answered the phone

"hey... do you have a second?" he asked through the phone and chaerin looked up at haechan with a sympathetic smile as he remained with a slight frown

"um...literally one second..why?" she asked with a chuckle

"i don't understand one of the topics in bio and the test is tomorrow dude" mark said with a tired voice making her laugh

"you're on your own minhyung, i'm kind of busy right now" she said and he cleared his throat

"you really cant come over? just for a bit?" he asked and she sighed

"i'll talk to you later mark, i gotta go" she said, ending the call before she could add any hope into him. she looked back at haechan who looked at her nervously

"what did he want?" he asked and chaerin smiled a small smile

"he asked me to come over" she said with a sigh and he nodded slowly, standing up from his seat making her look at him as she shut down her phone

"aren't you gonna eat?" she asked and he looked at her with surprise

"i thought....you were...gonna go see him?" haechan said making her chuckle

"and miss out on a date with lee haechan, i'll take a hard pass. sit down, the pasta is getting cold" she said and the frown he wore on his face was now long gone. he couldn't believe it, he had her undivided attention. for the first time she didn't choose mark over him. she made him feel important

"haechan....is something wrong?" she asked looking at him with soft worried eyes and he shook his head as his smile continued to grow

"no...i just....forgot the wine" he said, planting a kiss on the top of her head before walking out of the dining room and into the wine cellar, the treasured part of his house that his parents would defintely kill him for if they found out he went in there, but this was an important occasion for him.

"so this....is my death warrant if my parents find out its missing" haechan said, bringing up the bottle and slowly pouring it into the two wine glasses placed on the dining table

"then why are you using it?" she asked with a chuckle

"because, you deserve the best" he said making her blush a fiery red. he furrowed his eyes as he looked at the two glasses filled with wine

"maybe you should have my glass too. i should drive you home without some alcohol in my system for once" he said making her chuckle

"a true gentleman" she said as they began eating the food he had prepared. enjoying their time together, without a care in the world. through her currently hectic life, he was bringing all the chaos to a standstill. as if they were the only two people in the world.

"wait, how did i not know that you swim for the school team" she asked chuckling

"you didn't know? i won a trophy! wow... i'm hurt miss class president" he said making her giggle. she was way too lightweight and the alcohol simply wasn't helping her giggles to calm down

"you want to dance?" haechan asked as Sexy MF by Labrinth played, the vibe immensely changing from the previous song, yummy, justin bieber.

"why don't you go ask soyeon?" she asked cocking up an eyebrow making him roll his eyes and pull her out of her chair

"soyeon was incredibly beautiful that night...so pretty and attractive" haechan said making chaerin roll her eyes this time as he closed the space between them, wrapping his arms around her body
