Jen's on the huge balcony of the house, looking at the moon, which lights up everything around and David arrives with two bottles of wine, one in each hand and calls Jen who has her back to him and she turns around smiling.
David: So, Miss. Aniston, white or red wine?
Jen: red wine, please.
David: right.
He sets the bottle on the table, opens it, pours the wine into the glasses, hands the glass to Jen and hugs her, kissing her head as she stares at him, mesmerized.
David: When you look like this, my whole body shakes!
They kiss and David puts on music. The song is Rewrite the stars.
Jen: Looks like this song was made exclusively for us!
David: yes! After so many obstacles, so many things that kept us from being together, we're finally free to live our love!
Jen: For a long time I tried to run away, pretend I didn't feel anything for you anymore, but I never stopped loving you. I'll love you for the rest of my life! The love of my life is you, always was and will be until my last breath.
David caresses Jen's face, she closes her eyes and he takes the glass from her hand, sets them both on the balcony table and they kiss.
David: Come with me, I want to give you a present.
Jen: More? This is not everything? The rose petals, the candles, this beautiful place, the moon?
David: You haven't seen anything honey. You deserve the entire universe my love, this is nothing. Now that our night is really starting!
Jen: yes?
David: I'll come back!
David walks in and comes back with box in hand.
Jen: what's this baby?
She says pointing to the box in David's hands.
David: This is a gift for you my love.
Jen takes the box from David's hands, sits on the sofa on the balcony, and opens it. On the cover is a photo of them from many years ago and underneath it says, "Do you remember this?"
Jen smiles with emotional eyes looking at David who is trying to hide his nervousness.
Jen: How am I not going to remember? It's our first pic together!
David nods yes and Jen looks at what else is in the box and there are several envelopes and Jen opens them all. Each of the envelopes has a sentence that David wrote declaring himself to Jen and on the penultimate envelope is written: "Life is about choices and I chose you the day I first saw you." And in the last envelope there's only a question mark and she doesn't understand. So David calls her over and declares himself.
David: Time went by so fast, we've known each other for a lifetime and I remember exactly the day I saw you for the first time. We were so young, we fell in love but that moment was not supposed to be as much as we wanted so much. But now, 27 years later, we are here, more mature, with nothing and nobody to stop us from writing and living our story. And I can't wait any longer to share my life with you, sleep and wake up beside you, you hear me complaining and get angry because you're taking so long to get ready and it's going to slow us down, I want to wake up every day and still fall in love more for you. I look to the future, I think about my life, my dreams and you are in all of them. I look to the future and see our long-awaited happy ending.
Jen has been crying since the beginning, she seems to understand what's going on. Then David takes the box with the ring out of his pocket, kneels down and asks the question.
David: Jennifer Joanna Aniston: Will you marry me?
Jen: OH MY GOD!!!
Jen puts her hands over her face, crying.
Jen: I love you, I love you so much!!! I want to live all this and more with you baby. YES, YES AND YES! I want to marry you!!!
They kiss passionately and David puts the ring on Jen's finger.
David: You're my life, you're my oxygen, I can't live without you!! I love you, love you, love you...
Jen: We always belonged together, however we were going to end up together, that was always our destiny. You are my life, how have I lived all this time without you? What matters is that now we have a lifetime to live together and fulfill all our dreams together. I love you today, I will love you tomorrow, I will love you forever!!!
They kiss again and the kiss intensifies. David lifts Jen up and she wraps her legs around his waist. They walk back in and stop in front of the bed. Jen gets down and they stare at each other and go back to kissing intensely. David unzips Jen's dress which falls to the floor and she takes off his shirt. They fall into bed and love each other.
Jen and David are cuddled together on the bed, covered in a sheet and duvet.
Jen: When you told me this night would be unforgettable, I didn't think it would be that much. It's been so much more than unforgettable, is there a word that's bigger than unforgettable?
Jen says looking at her ring.
David: It was made exclusively for you.
Jen: the ring is perfect!!! Thank you for everything you've done to me today and I'm paranoid.
Jem and David laugh and he kisses Jen's neck and face several times.
David: You weren't wrong honey, now you know why I couldn't say anything. And seeing you so happy is my daily life goal.
Jen: Did anyone else know about this?
David: yes, Lisa. From the start.
Jen: what? I do not believe! I will thank her for that later.
They kiss and spend the night there, enjoying their magical night.
