Chapter 6: College

C H A P T E R  6     :    C O L L E G E   :

"New York or nowhere."

"Amber!!! We're running late!" I hear what sounds like Lizzy scream.

"What?" I say getting up and grabbing my phone.

8:00 a.m

The worst part of being a freshman is being stuck with the morning classes, and I'm everything except for a morning person. I groan trying not to think about how I only have thirty minutes to get ready.

I get up and run to my closet as Lizzy throws pillows at Alice, to wake her up. I run to the bathroom to take a quick shower, and grab my outfit for today.

It's supposed to be a bit colder today. So a classic September day in New York. I decided to wear a sweater with a skirt, some heels, and a Chanel bag.

My foot still hurts really badly, but the heels look way too good with this outfit.

As soon as I change, I get out of the bathroom so one of the other girls can come in. Alice runs in, as I quickly get on my vanity and do a quick makeup look. Mascara, lipstick, bronzer and highlighter is all I could do with the limited time.

I tie my hair up in a slicked back high ponytail.

I finish getting ready as Lizzy and Alice also finish. This morning consisted of screaming and running as we all freaked out.

I must have forgot to put on an alarm, I talked to Aurora pretty late last night.

We all finally ran out the door at 8:28. We're gonna be late.

We sprint downstairs to where the auditorium is, we finally arrive. Out of breath we read the sign on the door.

Freshmen orientation at 9:00am

Uhm what?

We all look at each other and start laughing hysterically.

We have 30 freaking minutes, we did all that for no reason.
