"Move it, people, move it! We don't have all day!", I yell from downstairs

"Move it, people, move it! We don't have all day!", I yell from downstairs.

"Can you not shout for like two minutes?", my brother, Levi yells, peering at me from upstairs.

"Nope", I sing.

"May God have mercy on us all", he mutters. But I still hear him.

"How can you not be excited?! We are going to meet her!", I squeal.

"I am excited but stuck. I can't wear my tie", He groans coming downstairs. I whistle when I see him.

"Damn, V. You clean up nice.", I say with a grin. He just rolls his eyes.

"Did you both clean up your room?", Mom asks us from upstairs.

"I did!", I reply back and then turn towards my brother, "Did you?"

"I always like to keep my room clean unlike someone", he says not so deliberately jabbing at me.

"When did you get so prickly?", I ask, helping him with his tie.

"Puberty", he replies nonchalantly. I narrow my eyes and whack him on the back of his head. He yelps and massages his scalp.

"You can't always blame your crappy attitude on puberty", I snap at him.

"I can, you did too. And, bloody hell, are you trying to strangle me?", he scowls. Oops. I loosen my hold around his tie.

I wish I could. I also wish I could chuck you off the top floor. But unfortunately, we are stuck together.

I, of course, don't speak out my thoughts. Instead, I decide to reply to his 'puberty tantrum'.

"You aren't bleeding from your genitals now, are you? So, shut up.", I say. He cringes and thankfully stays quiet.

"Ah, there is my other beautiful angel", my dad says, climbing down the stairs with his arms open. Mom just chuckles from behind him.

"I am no angel, old man. I am a devil. How many times do I have to remind you?", I say giving him a hug.

"My memory must be failing me", he grins.

"It seems so", I say with a hum.

"Can we go now?", my brother asks pulling at his tie.

"Don't you dare loosen it", I warn.

"I'm dying here", he whines.

"Then die", I reply dismissively.

"What the-"

"Mind your language, Levi", mom warns him sternly. He just grunts in response. We all then walk out the front door and pile up in the SUV. I swear, the whole Rossi family loves these cars more than those luxurious ones.

"Did you kids grab Talia's gift?", my mom asks.

"Yes, we did. Do you think she's going to like it", I ask anxiously.
