Chapter 10: Moving apart

"Y/n, help me I'm trapped here. I don't want to die." Jungwoo shouted his lungs out.

"Jungwoo, where are you, tell me." She shouted back.

"Y/n." His voice started fading.

"Jungwoo I'm coming, don't be afraid, I won't let anything happen to you."

She saw Jungwoo tied in a rope. His condition was worst, his clothes were torn. He had several bruises on his face. His body had many wounds.

"Jungwoo, who did this to you." She left her tears out.

"This might be our last meeting, forgive me if I ever hurt you, I know my death is near, I can't endure more."

She untied him and rested his head on her lap and cupped his face, she started weeping.

"I'm so sorry, I was late it's all my fault."

"Y/n please don't blame yourself, its not your mistake."

"Who did this to you?."

"I don't know, few men kidnapped me and started beating me, I couldn't see anyone's face."

"Nothing will happen to you, I'm here I won't let anything happen to you."

She dialed nearest hospital's number and called the ambulance.

"It's too late, before I die. I want to hug you, and thank you for everything you did for me." He stammered.

"Jungwoo you can't leave me alone. Please try to endure more, I promise I will always protect you." She let out all her tears.

"Y/n you know you are so kind, everyone should get a friend like you, I-."
Suddenly he stopped talking.

"Noooo jungwoo" she shouted.
"You can't leave me alone in this world. I love you please come back, please jungwoo I love you". She let her sadness out through a river of tears.

"Y/n! wake up, I said wake up!!." Her mom shouted.

She got no response. Y/n was in deep sleep.

"Aish I don't know when this girl will become responsible!."

"No you can't leave me alone." She woke up.

"Yes I will leave you alone, it's too late." Her mom said.

"So it was dream? THANK GOD."

"What dream are you talking about?."

"Nothing just a nightmare eomma." She slipped back to her bed.

"I think you lost your memory, today your brother is coming home and as usual you woke up late and I'm gonna abandon you at home, I'm going to pick him up."

"Oh shit! Eomma please wait 5 mins I will get ready."

"What will you do in five minutes?. Better be at home and take a shower instead of stinking on airport."

"Yes you are right, I will be home. I will wait for him."

"I'm going, till then clean up your room and water the plants in the garden."

Her mom left for the airport in her car.

"What was that dream about? Suddenly why I'm dreaming about him? I just want to forget him but he's roaming in my mind."

Meanwhile at Jungwoo's room
He laid on his bed staring the ceiling.

"She likes me and I never knew that? Maybe bang chan was right, I was so into ryujin that I never paid attention to her or her kind deeds which she did for me."
