It was the next day. Sylvia and Clay were eating breakfast and doing the daily crossword puzzle, waiting for everyone else to come downstairs. George was the next up; he had gone to bed early the other day so he wouldn't sleep in so much.

He slumped over to them and poured a glass of milk and mixed chocolate syrup in it.

George lifted his glass, "Calcium. Good for your bones."

Clay teased him, "Big man George with his glass of chocolate milk."

"Ayo, leave my man alone. He still drinks milk with his eyes closed." Sylvia defended.

George instantly opened his eyes while taking a swig. Nick walked in, stretching his arms up with a yawn. He was wearing blue plaid PJ bottoms and a baggy black shirt. His hair was all messed up. Sylvia giggled at him. He looked like he was half awake.

"Hey, don't laugh at me. Do we have any energy drinks?"

"This early?" She quirked a brow.

He gave her a stare, "Yes, this early."

"Yeah, I think Karl has some Monsters in the fridge."

Clay circled a word and pointed it out to Sylvia. She smiled and leaned on to his shoulder. Nick closed the fridge and sat on a stool next to her. He cracked open the can and started to drink it in hopes it would wake him up. Clay circled another word.

"I can't find the last one." He complained.

Sylvia tilted her head at the paper, "Here, let me see."

She leaned closer to the paper while he had a little grin growing on his face. The word was "Figure," so she looked for "Fi" next to each other. Eventually, she found it.

"Got it." Sylvia smiled.

"Where?"

She giggled, "No, no, you got to find it now."

Clay whined, "That's not fair."

"Oh, is it not?" She smirked.

Sylvia got out of her chair to walk away, but Clay was right behind her. He grabbed her from behind and picked her up. His fingers were on her side and tickled her. She thrashed in his arms.

"Oh, come on now, just tell me." He chuckled in her ear.

She got out of his grasp and ran to the living room. Clay cornered her into the couch. He grabbed her hands and pinned them above her head. She started giggling. George and Nick were sitting back observing.

Sylvia finally gave in, "Fine, I'll tell you."

Clay threw her over his shoulder while she laughed. He carried her into the kitchen, and he put her down on the counter. He slotted himself between Sylvia's legs and looked down into her eyes. She turned and grabbed the paper and the pen. She circled the word, and he smiled.

Nick and George gagged as Clay kissed her cheek. Sylvia flipped them off. Patches came in and rubbed against Clay's leg.
