A Message From The Author

One of the first things that I want to say is thank you so much for reading my second book. I have enjoyed writing this and I hope that you have enjoyed reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.

I know that Marvel tries to portray the human aspect of the characters as best as they can, but you really can't have a superhero who cries every single time they lose someone, can you?

That's what I try to convey better. I want to really bring out the fact that all superheroes have emotions, and that they are human. (Except for the ones that aren't human, but still have feelings).

I have had this book on my mind for a while and I found about Wattpad through a friend. Her name is StreamPercyJackson. This book wouldn't be published if it wasn't for her. All my thanks to her.

Melissa's is the kind of person that I want to be. Except for the superpowers. She goes through extreme heartbreak and loss in her short lifetime and yet her resilience through it all is amazing.

There are some of my personality that are in Melissa. Like her stubbornness and her extroverted personality. But she also learns things the hard way, a lot like me. She also held onto the past for a long time, causing even more heartache.

But she eventually comes to terms with her past and is healing. That's the process that I am in. Trying to continually let go and move on from my past. Melissa has already achieved what I am trying to achieve. I am healing and I am still myself. I pray each and every day that it stays that way.

When she finds out Bucky is alive, she of course is happy, but also heartbroken that this happened to him and what he has become.

Most people would've been like, "Oh shit, yea I'm outta here.". But not Melissa, she is going to stick by him even if she is not physically by him.

She is willing to risk life and limb to bring him back. She is going to continue to do that throughout the next book in this series.
