The next day, the four of us went into the woods and each tried taking shots in destroying the first Horcrux

"You first," Hermione says to Harry.

Raising his wand he fires a spell.

We walk over to see if it worked and saw the necklace still in one piece.

Hermione wasted no time and fired another spell. Still, the necklace remained in one piece.

We continued throwing any spell that came to mind and found nothing seems to work.

Harry got impatient and started sending a bunch of spells to it but soon realised that no matter how hard we try, it simply wasn't enough to destroy it. At least not with the spells we know.

Harry kneeled and put the necklace around his neck.

"What're you doing?"

"We have to keep it safe until we find out how to destroy it,"

"Seems strange, mate. Dumbledore sends you off to find all these horucuxs but doesn't tell you how to destroy them. Doesn't that bother you?" Ron asked.

Harry looked at us all then walked away.

It was getting late.

I and Mione sat in front of the fire, enjoying the silence we had for once until hearing something coming from the woods.

"Should we check it out?" I asked, looking back out at the trees I could barely see due to the dark.

"I think we should, just in case," she said.

We began to slowly approach where the noise had come from hearing nothing at first. Three men appear walking past us but one stops and makes his way back, standing face to face with Hermione. If it wasn't for the force field she had put up, the man on the other side would have seen us.

The men in front of him began whining for him to move.

As soon as they left, Hermione breathed out in relief.

"That was a close call," I say before jumping when Harry has spoken.

"Snatchers," he says.

"Could of at least told me you were standing right there," I say, placing a hand on top of my chest.

"Sorry," he says.

"He could smell my perfume," Hermione says.

The next day we began to set on foot. We knew if we stayed in the same spot for a long time, the death eaters would eventually catch up to us.

Harry and Mione walked in front whilst I and Ron trailed behind. I noticed Ron glaring at the two in front of us but shrugged it off as nothing.

A couple of death eaters flew past so we decided to sit in a barn until it was safe to travel on foot again.

It was clear the death eaters had been to places to look for us. They were either battered up or some with nothing left.

"This is sick," I say, walking past a caravan that looked like it had been set in flames the previous night.

"Yeah," Hermione says, also looking around at all the houses.

Hermione was giving Harry a haircut whilst Ron layed in bed for a bit. Suddenly it looked like Hermione had a light bulb above her head.
