If things were different; SPECIAL CHAPTER; P2

"Stop pushing each other." Suri groaned, trying to pull the two guys away from each other, but they quickly ran away from her, continuing their fight somewhere else. Suri turned quickly when she heard a chuckle coming from behind her.

"You act like their mom." Jeno smiled down at her, planting a soft kiss on her head, before wrapping his arms around her waist, hugging her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder.

"And they still never listen to me." Suri watched Felix and Chenle continue their pointless fight, it was probably over who's a better player. "Did you eat?" Suri asked, turning still between Jeno's arms, but was now facing him.

"Did you eat?" Jeno questioned back, teasingly, but Suri knew he was being serious. He sighed when she stayed silent, knowing that she was probably making him and the dreamies food, since the lady that cooked for them every day was sick and their schedule was packed already, they didn't have time to cook for themselves. "Gosh, can you take care of yourself for like 5 minutes?" Jeno groaned, before letting out another sigh, pulling her closer, tightly hugging her. 

"Thank you. Thank you for always taking care of me and the other assholes, we don't deserve you literally." Suri couldn't help but smile, wrapping her arms around Jeno's torso. "Please take care of yourself for me. I know I ask for way too many things, but whenever I'm not around, make sure that you're taking care of your-"

"Okay, lovebirds. Are you two done?" The two pulled away, giggling at Renjun who was wearing an apron. "I washed the dishes for you, Su. You don't have to wash them, oh and I gave food to Jisung like you told me." He continued, and it always surprised Jeno how Renjun was literally and angel around Suri. 

"Aww Renjunnie, thank you so much." Suri smiled brightly at the guy, causing Jeno to roll his eyes when Renjun smiled back. 

"Yeah, we're leaving." Jeno pulled the girl quickly out of the kitchen, grabbing his keys and two of his jackets. 

"Where are we going?" Suri asked, trying to match his speed. 

"You didn't eat, I didn't eat, so we're going to eat." 

"I didn't even bring my ja-"

"Here, I got you one." 

"That's yours-"

"Yeah, just wear it."

Jeno somehow was having a hard time believing Suri, and he wasn't sure why. He knew that the girl was in Chicago, he also knew that it clearly didn't look like her, but something inside him was telling him to believe what he was seeing on the news, even if deep down there he knew that it was all just rumors. He heard a light knock on the door, and he didn't bother to say anything know that it was Jaemin.

"Where is she?" He asked the second Jaemin entered the room. Yes he was mad at her, but he was still worried about her, she's his girlfriend after all. He saw the comments and he saw how people were reacting to everything. Even if Lee Soo man himself said that it wasn't Suri a lot of people will still not believe him. People will still hate on Suri, and that would only cause trouble to the whole group.

"Renjun is taking her home. You know that its not her, right?"

"I don't know anything Jaemin. I don't know if I believe it or not, I don't know if I'm mad at her for starting a scandal like this, even though I know its not her fault. I don't know anything."

"Thank you for bringing her Jun." Seungmin talked with the guy for a while as they watched Suri enter the dorm, lifelessly. She knew how this was going to end, she knew that she was going to be in a lot of trouble. She already caused way too many trouble to the group, giving them a lot of unwanted attention. She was causing a lot of scandals that shouldn't be there. She felt bad for them, they had to go through all of this because of her, and they weren't even blaming her. She was losing Jeno because of this, and it should not be going this way.

She watched the boys giving her all those pity looks, that she hated the most, but she couldn't do anything about it. She had to go through all of this. She has been going through a lot of hate already, just because she was in the group and now with the cheating scandal, she wasn't really sure what to expect.

"Suri, are you there." The girl came back to life as a really worried Felix shook her from her daydream. "Dude you have been staring at nothing for nearly 5 minutes. Hey don't do this to yourself, you know its going to be alright really soon. We believe you and even if Jeno doesn't for now, I'm sure that he's just too caught up with everything. Give him time, Hmm? Everything is going to be back to normal Su, I promise." Suri let out a dry chuckle as Felix gave her a tight hug.

"Don't make promises you can't keep, Lix."  

Felix didn't really have time to say anything as the door started knocking, and they pulled away waiting for whoever was outside to enter. Jeongin later opened the door and stood there awkwardly for a few seconds. "I- I didn't know if I should let him in or not, but he was- Umm- Seungmin told me to let him in- I-"

"Jeongin-" Suri was cut off, when she saw Jeno behind Jeongin, before pushing him softly aside, entering the room. 

"I- I- umm, I wanted to make sure that you arrived home safe." He started, causing Suri to look at him confused, and he even confused himself. If he wanted to make sure that she arrived, he could've just texted her or Renjun or maybe even one of the boys and not come all the way here.  

"I just remembered that- Umm, my brownies are- Umm, done."Felix suddenly sprinted off the bed, rushing to Jeongin, pushing him out then closing the door behind them. 

"I'm home. Don't worry, I'm not going to go out and cheat on you again." Suri sighed, getting up, not wanting to even see Jeno. 

"Suri-" She heard him groan from behind her. "I know that I fucked up, and I don't even know why I thought of that. I know you won't cheat on me, I know that you're not the girl in the pictures, I know- I know all of that, and I promise you, I won't hurt you ever again, because it was stupid of me and I don't deserve you, but I need you and I want you with me. I promise you this won't ever happen again, I won't let anyone say one bad word about you. I promise to keep you safe, from everyone and from me too. I promise not to ever hurt you again, but please, don't break up with me." Suri was able to hear the sobs from him, and it broke her heart. She turned to look at him and her tears started to fall down her face too. Jeno rushed to her, wiping the tears off her face. 

"Please don't cry. I don't want to be the reason behind your tears, please. I'm sorry." He wrapped his arms around her, and sighed when she hugged him back. "Don't leave me."

Present time

"Be careful its hot." Suri said, blowing on the meat before feeding Jeno. He couldn't help but let out a giggle, and smiled staring at her. "What?" Suri was able to feel his gaze on her as she cut the meat into small pieces. 

"You're pretty." Jeno giggled, causing Suri to roll her eyes playfully at him. "Eat. You're only feeding me." Jeno took the scissors from her and started feeding her. 

"How's the comeback preparation?" Suri asked, smiling at Jeno. 

"Good, doing great. Are you planning for anything soon?" 

"Yeah, Chris said something about a comeback next June, but nothing is confirmed yet." 

"Should we go on a vacation?" Jeno watched the girl drink some water, looking at him confused. 

"I guess when you're done with you're comeback, we'll be starting ours. So maybe when we finish ours we can all go together, I can tell Som-" 

"No." Suri looked at Jeno confused. "Don't tell anyone. Let's go, just me and you. Our 2 years anniversary will be in month, some maybe we can go somewhere together to celebrate?" Suri started blushing, causing Jeno to grin at her. 

"I'll take that as a yes."
