"Y-Y-Y-You're s-s-shaking,"Auggie chuckles, looking over at Emryn who's sitting on his bed with her legs folded in a pretzel, watching as Auggie changes his clothes.
"No sh**,"Emryn mumbles, fidgeting with the hem of her skirt and picking at her spider laced tights, making the fabric snap against her thighs.

"It's j-j-just m-m-my f-f-family, b-b-babe,"Auggie chuckles, pulling his green jumper over his head.

"Exactly!"Emryn dramatically exclaims, banging the back of her head against the wall repeatedly. "Exactly! Exactly why I'm nervous!"
"Y-Y-Y-You t-t-trying t-t-to g-g-get a ccc-concussion s-s-so y-y-you d-d-don't h-h-have t-t-to g-g-go?"Auggie cheekily smirks, glancing over at Emryn as she continues to bang the back of her head against the wall repeatedly with her eyes closed and her face pulled tight in a dramatic grimace.
"Maybe,"she whimpers, peeking her eyes open to look at him.
"B-B-B-Babe, t-t-they're s-s-so n-n-nice,"Auggie promises with a smile, buttoning his pants and then walking over to the bed that's raises a few feet above the ground, allowing him to stand beside it and lean over the top. It's so high that Emryn has to get a running start to jump on top of it.
He pats his hands on top of her knees as she pouts and looks at him with big puppy dog eyes, hoping that she'll be able to guilt him into not making her go. "I know they're nice it's just...scary. You're lucky you don't have to do this."
Auggie chuckles and shakes his head. She's right, he doesn't have to go through the nerves of meeting her family considering that the only family she has is her grandpa who he's already obviously met since he was their physics professor. "Y-Y-Y-You're s-s-s-so m-m-m-morbid."
