"You're going this early?"
"Yes hun, I'm sorry. I've prepared your breakfast already, take more rest and make sure to eat okay? Mr. Yoo wants all employees to work as early as possible these days," Winter's mother planted a soft kiss on her forehead as she rapidly fix her things
She only nodded and she watched her mom walked away until her figure disappears from her sight.
They are not that wealthy but they can keep up with their needs, pay the bills and rent and buy groceries. Winter and her mom only have each other in this quiet neighborhood. She never even met her dad in her 18 years of existence.
Currently, it's 5am and she have to be in school at 7am so she wouldn't miss the flag ceremony.
Winter yawned, the breeze was chilling and the blue sky was calming. She closed her eyes a bit to relax.
But then, somebody taps her shoulder making her eyes widen.
"Hey~" An extrovert has appeared
Winter gave her a pokerface.
"What is it you want?" She asked in her most serious tone
"Nothing really, can we go to school together?" Giselle rubbed her hands together
"No, you can go alone." Winter turned around to get inside but then Giselle followed her
"Hey! Get out!" Winter yelled when Giselle entered without asking
"Not bad, your house is quite big. Think we can sleepover here?" Giselle inquired, eyes fixed on the staircase
"Sleepover? No! Never!"
"Oh pancakes!" Giselle went to the kitchen as she started taking big bites on the pancakes Winter's mom made for her
Winter facepalmed. "Why are you here?"
"Oh, I jush saw you on myh way to schoo," Giselle kept talking eventhough her mouth is filled with food
Winter sighed, "Just say that you're spying on me and go. Don't worry I won't tell anyone how annoying Karina is,"
Giselle gasped, her eyes showing a hint of amusement, "So you knew?" She laughed
"Knew what?" Winter was confused
"That she's a two-faced bitch! HAHAHAHAHA" she held her tummy while laughing, Winter's face remained the same
"Yeah, so what."
"You'll get close to her just as fast, I'm sure you guys will get along really well," Giselle drank the whole milk like it's hers
"Who said I'm gonna get closer with her? I have no plans on becoming friends with Karina, she will be the least person I would want to be friends with in this whole neighborhood." Winter said, confidently.
"Hmm, are you sure?" Giselle smirked, "Because that's what I told myself too, I hated her guts but look at us now! We're the best of friends. I can't believe I stood with her ass in the past 5 years." She shook her head as she let out soft chuckles
"Whatever. Why are we even talking about her? Please, do me a favor and don't tell her where I live." Winter decided to take a bath, on her way upstairs she was astounded by what Giselle said next
"She actually knew where you lived, that's why I'm here. I was curious as to what your house looks like so I went," Giselle then started gazing on the picture frames
"How did she know? And really? This early in the morning?" Winter's mouth parted
"Yeah, I wanted to walk with you to school. As to how did she know you live here... I have no idea," Giselle replied nonchalantly
Winter groaned, "Fine. Just don't do anything stupid down here, and wait for me."
Winter rushed herself inside the bathroom, she can't take to bathe an hour knowing that there's a stranger just downstairs.
She brushed her teeth, washed her face and applied sunscreen. She doesn't really apply any make-ups or tints on her lips, she's a natural.
Winter flinched when she heard her own bedroom door opened, and because she's inside the bathroom she left her outfit lying on her bed.
She took a deep breath, holding the bridge of her nose to calm herself. She might have an idea that Giselle entered her room without asking AGAIN. Because that's what she's good at.
Winter opened the bathroom door, so ready to yell at Giselle only to find Karina sitting on the edge of her bed.
She felt like her tounge got cut off when she saw her there smiling warmly at her.
"Hey babe~ Shall we go to class together?" Karina winked
When Winter recovered from the sudden trespasser, her eyes fumed into fire
"What is with you and Giselle? First, you started pestering me at school and even here?! IN MY OWN ROOM!" Winter glared at her, fuming mad.
"Chill," Karina chuckled, her eyes roamed around.
"Nice room huh, okay Imma give you some private time, go get change and we should hurry." Karina purposedly smelled Winter's neck on her way out making the girl automatically move backwards. The towel which is the only thing that's covering her whole existence almost fell off her body
Winter thought she was done but then she whispered something that made her face turn into a red tomato.
"Nice undies baby," Karina even made a click sound by her tounge, laughing on her way out of Winter's room
Winter grunts, locking the door with all her might and as soon as she did, she suddenly felt embarassed as she buried her face on her own palm.
"Fuck," She cursed under her deep breaths, gazing at her black undergarments
