It had been a week since Nik and Zeara met. They clicked nicely as friends and had hung out once. He had even given her tips on sketching
For Klaus it was nice to have someone talk to, because normally everyone is scared of him. So he did a little bad about lying to her
And Zeara also thought it was nice to talk to some, mostly because none of her other friends knew this person
She just didn't know that it was all a lie. And soon everyone would find out who he really was
But right now the Velesco was going to get lunch today with her new friend Nik. Their plan was to meet at the grill and get to know more about each other
So Zeara parked her car and went inside with a small smile on her face
When the girl saw the male sitting at a table she met eyes with him and walked over to sit with him

The two sat there for a two hours laughing and having a nice conversation, but now left and were walking around town
It was a nice day outside with the sun shining and green leaves settled on the perky trees
When the two had paused their talking and went to a temporarily non awkward silence, Klaus decided to say something
A question, specifically "So love, what's your story?" Klaus asked. His voice was calm and he gave her a very small smile
He wanted to know more about her, because it turns out there was some stuff he already knew about her
Letting out a very quiet sigh Zeara looked down for a very brief moment then back up at Klaus
The girls voice was calm and slow "Well my parents weren't the best so I worked very hard to make money, got a car and moved here."
She didn't overshare but he did ask, so she had to tell him something
All of sudden Klaus felt a slight pang in his heart hearing that her parents didn't care and neglected her. He also felt bad for lying to her becuase she truly was a sweet soul but he brushed it off because he was the hardcore original hybrid, not a softie. Right?
When the undercover mikaelson snapped out of his thought he saw two people walk towards him and Zeara
The teen girl turned her head when she headd Alaric say her name and make his way to her
Klaus just smirked waiting to see how this was gonna go. He watch as Zeara crossed her arms and huffed at Alaric
But because Zeara didnt know he really was Alaric she was kind of sassy when speaking to him "Klaus stay away from me"
