A Different Beginning ~ Part 33 ~ Updated: 1/18/15 Late Evening
A couple of minutes later the boys lead me down three flights of stairs to the large first floor and my eyes almost popped out of my eyes. It was a gorgeous and well done first floor with beautiful furnishings I was stunned. On top of that there were three floors. As we stepped out of the side door I almost toppled over seeing the large buildings behind us and Luke broke out giggling. Victor took my hand and squeezed. “I know… its huge.” He smirked and I laughed as we got into a car.
“That is an understatement.” I murmured and Gabriel laughed hard. Mr. B and Dr. Green had rushed off earlier telling me to take it easy and giving me different things I needed.
I was now in North’s car with Luke, and Victor. Luke sat up front front chatting with North, more annoying him then chatting with him while Victor and I talked about classes and what we were going to be doing today during Japanese. As we arrived I slipped out of the car and the guys shifting into the school. My eyes met Mr. McCoy’s as we entered the front doors and I quickly ducked down my hand lightly squeezing Victor’s. Victor caught on and guided me away from him shifting us into the stair well and up to my homeroom.
Victor squeezed my hand before disappearing down the hall. Shifting into my seat in between North and Luke we lightly chatted about the different classes we were going to be worried about when the teacher stepped in to take attendance. I sat quietly holding my schedule which the boys names written on it and my planner. A shiver snaked through my body as I felt eyes on me. My mind briefly thought of Mr. McCoy who had caught my eye this morning and I let out a shaky breath a little nervous. North’s hand found my shoulder and I turned.
“Take it easy.” He warned. My eyes met his intense brown eyes and I nodded.
“I will.” I promised and I felt his hands lightly play with my hair. He was protective. I had learned this very quickly even if it had been obvious I was picking up on different things that he didn’t say. He needed a physical aspect when it came to protection. North seemed to settle when I was in his arms, when I was in his lap, or when I was looking at him. But he knew when something was on my mind. He was observant even when he was loud and yelling.
I sighed relaxing into the other’s touch when the bell rang. Carefully collecting my stuff, I gave a quick hug to North, outside of the classroom, before taking Luke’s hand and behind guided down the hallway to English. “Come one birdie.” He smiled and I blushed staying behind him. Someone pushed into me and I flinched hard. Luke’s hands found my sides and he guided me in front of him as I caught my breath.
“Sang?” He brought me close and I nodded staying in his arms.
“I’m okay.” I whispered as the memory of my mother pushing me into the table surfaced. I quickly pushed it away and smiled. Luke studied me and then quickly brought me to the trailer. I smiled to Kota and Gabriel as I slipped into the seat closest to the window.
“Everything okay?” Kota whispered and I nodded lightly but he turned to Luke who sat in front of me.
“She was pushed.” Luke responded and I looked down with a sigh,
