Alice Cullen let out a heavy puff of air through her nose unsure whether to go after her upset twin or stay and talk with her mate, she was completely torn...Addison had always come first to Alice and vice versa and that would never ever change but she had never actually got the chance to talk to the female werewolf...before she could finish making up her mind Jasper appeared beside her placing a hand on her shoulder "I'll go after Addison you stay here and deal with... her" he was still wary of Leah Clearwater because how her last conversation with Addison ended with the female wolf almost eating his wife, and Alice knew that her best friend didn't trust her mate "yeah okay..."
Alice watched as the honey-blonde disappeared into the large crowd of dancing teenagers and after a moment when she was positive he was outside she turned back to Leah, "why did you do that?" the words fell from her mouth before she even thought about them taking the werewolf by complete surprise. "I- I wanted to talk to you, the pain was becoming annoying-" Leah was quick to chase after the vampire who ducked into the kitchen for some privacy.
On one hand, Alice was over the moon to have her mate standing in front of her and she loved the strong scent of lavender and fire smoke but on the other hand, she felt guilty because Addison was gone... "No... no this isn't how I wanted Addison to find out", "Alice she was going to find out eventually". "But not like this" Alice sighed running a hand through her black short hair "I wanted to tell her on my own time, now- now she's heartbroken".
Leah began to wonder if the Cullen Twins had always been this dramatic and if so why had she not realized earlier on "that's a little dramatic besides she said she was happy for us-".

"That wasn't happy Leah!" Alice cut her off with an exasperated shout, she was becoming overwhelmed unsure on how to get her point across to someone who didn't understand how deep certain bonds ran.
"You just...don't get it. We were gone for nine months and Addison was alone for the first time in decades and she had to keep Bella breathing all by herself and that was a stressful and different situation to her but then she found you. She made a friend and suddenly being alone didn't seem so stressful because she had you, her own private little sanctuary that she didn't have to share with anyone else".
Leah crossed her arms over her chest leaning against the kitchen counter wondering what family she imprinted in too.
"Addison has to share every single thing in this family, almost nothing is private in this coven. She shares her friendship with Emmett with Rosalie and vice versa, she shares Jasper with me, she shares whatever weird friendship she has with Bella with Edward, and she shares Carlisle and Esme's love with all of us and sometimes she gets shoved away for someone else, mostly Edward but that's not the point. And most of the time her feelings and thoughts aren't even private because of Edward's and Jasper's powers but you- you were different".
"You were the one thing in her life that she didn't have to share, you were her own little private space and now she doesn't have that, now she doesn't have you anymore".

Leah had to refrain from rolling her eyes as she stared at the vampire in front of her "one: I am not a toy, you can't share me or own me, and two: our friendship couldn't have been that special to her because she abandoned me when I needed her most".
Alice let out a frustrated groan stomping her foot like an annoyed child "that's not what happened, you don't listen, why won't you just listen!" the music around them was so loud, the bass thumping in their skulls but luckily it made the human's oblivious to everything happening in the kitchen. "Addison didn't leave you alone, it was my fault she was even in New York that day, so if you wanna blame someone blame me"...
Alice sighed finally letting out all the pent up guilt she had been feeling, "Addison went back to the asylum because of me, she found out about all the sick treatments because of me, she found out that she had been raped because of me... She didn't mean to ignore you, Leah I swear, Edward had gone to the Volturi to kill himself and we had to help him, she was there because of me and Bella. So please don't take this out on her because she needs you and you need her... Did you know she still wears those bracelets? The ones that say Best Bitches, she even fixed the one with the little wooden wolf".
"You miss her Leah... I know you do"

Leah's arms dropped limply at her sides as she stared at the ground unsure what to think anymore and after a beat, she looked back up at Alice with sad eyes. "I do... I miss her so much... and your right our friendship was special and different, it was just ours, the cliche bubbly vampire and untrusting werewolf, two forbidden sides becoming friends"...
Leah felt ashamed of herself as she rubbed her hand down her face with a small sigh "I should have let her explain... I just assumed the worst and snapped and- and she was so scared of me. I made my best friend scared of me, God why did I do that?that was so stupid of me".
Alice stepped closer to Leah gently grabbing her hands, the coldness contrasting with the warmth, "it's not too late you know? just talk to her, make that friendship yours again, make something that only you and her share". Alice took a leap placing a gentle kiss on Leah's cheek before leaving her alone in the kitchen to think...
A/n~ Alice, and Leah need a ship name, I also just realized that I haven't given Addison and Jasper a ship name, I should work on that.
(Also I couldn't get gifs to work so that's why there's not many but one)
