"Princesa, it's almost 8 PM and we finished the first season." Came Elliot's voice next to me when the credits started rolling for 13 Reason Why season one episode thirteen, "It's a miracle that your brothers onl called about a dozen times already." Elliot droned, "Maybe I should be talking you home."

"No." I protested, "I know for a fact that only Damon, Xander, Reece and Phoenix are going to be home and it's going to be boring." I was practically whining but I didn't care.

I had spent the entire with Elliot doing nothing but stuffing our faces, mostly him, and trying to complete the first season of 13 Reasons Why, and we did. After that, I didn't want to go back home, which was ridiculous, I knew that. But after having just one carefree day and doing what normal teenagers were supposed to do -well somewhat of what normal teenagers were supposed to do considering I spent the day with a twenty two year old- I didn't want to go home and be dragged back into my brothers' alpha male bravado and the torment that came with its.

I just wanted the glory to last a little bit longer.

Elliot sighed and looked away from me, thinking. His eyes lit up when he looked back at me, "Compromise. You have to go back at some point," Elliot's voice was firm yet almost understanding, "so when the clock strike 8, we will both be getting out asses into the car, deal?"

I thought over the offer, which wasn't bad because it did delay the time in which I was supposed to be getting home, and looked at Elliot, "What's the time?"

He quirked a curious eyebrow at me by looked down at his phone screen, "7:27, basically 7:30."

I nodded, "Okay, fine. You will take me home at 8?"

"No," He shook his head and clicked his tongue in an annoyed fashion but I knew by then he was just playing around, "we will be in the car by 8 but that doesn't necessarily mean I have to take you straight home." Elliot shot me his signature smirk.

"Oh." I nodded in understanding, "So we're gonna go for a joyride after this?"

"Something like that." Elliot shrugged and pushed himself off the seat, "But in the mean time, what do you want to do?" He looked over his shoulder at me, "We've got half an hour to kill."

"Dealer's choice." I called out as I stood up.

"You're buying more food?" Disbelief was clear in my tone while Elliot ordered whatever it was he wanted from Taco Bell.
