Chapter 19

Dawn sat dead eye staring at the wall in front of her not even acknowledging Kol hoping that he would disappear

"c'mon darling you carnet ignore me forever" Kol said interrupting the awkward silence

"watch me" Dawn said with no emotion like it was out of her control, she started to think why she spoke like that I mean it was Kol-

'no, no you don't have any feelings for Kol' Dawn thought to herself 'not anymore'

Kol just sighed defeated after 28 hours in the room of Kol trying to talk to her. he was about to shout Freya to lift the spell long enough so he could get out, but Dawn moved her head to look at him there eyes caught each others, her ocean blue eyes connecting with his chocolate brown eyes memories started flashing in her head but one specific memory

Dawns memory

Kol and Dawn was walking along a river that wasn't to far from their village, hand in hand a nice breeze brushed passed them and Dawn giggled as Kol's long hair fell in front of his face. they stopped and she stood in front of him and tucked his hair behind his ear

"I'm pretty sure that that's my job" Kol looked down slightly so he could maintain eye contact with Dawn. she raised her eyebrows

"really and what's that" Dawn teased

"well being the romantic and tucking the hair out of your face so it wasn't in your face" Kol listed and smirked

"mmm" Dawn hummed and wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face into his chest "well I think the walk along the river at night in the moonlight with millions and millions of stars dancing around us, is pretty romantic" Dawn said softly with a small smile

"hmm I guess your right" Kol agreed, his arms was now around her shoulders "but what could make this romantic walk even better is-" Kol stopped speaking for a moment and looked off into the distance "wait what's that?" Kol asked and Dawn turned around to see what he was talking about

"I don't see anything Kol-" Dawn said now turning back to see Kol on one knee and a silver band with a nice pattern on but nothing to fancy "Kol?"

"Dawn Elodie will you do me the honour of officially being mine always and forever?" Kol asked with a huge smile and a smile also erupted onto Dawns face and she started nodding rapidly

"yes, yes, yes of course yes"

a happy chuckle came from Kol and he stood up and spun her around laughs coming from both of them knowing that nothing could ruin this moment, this was theirs. Kol kissed her intensely and after a while they pulled away but they kept their heads touching staring into each others eyes enjoying the moment.

Kol reached his thumb to her face and wiped away some of the stray tears that had left Dawns eyes, she hadn't even noticed.

after a while they sat down next to the river Kol was legs crossed while Dawns head laid on his legs, she was admiring the ring on her finger with a smile her eyes travelled to Kol who was just staring at her in awe.

never had he seen anything so perfect, and she was his.

"so my name" Dawn started "Dawn Mikaelson" Dawn said seeing how it would sound "or Dawn Elodie-Mikaelson?" she asked

"what ever you want my love" Kol smiled at her he was so vulnerable at this moment, he was so in love

"hmmm" Dawn started thinking and she looked at him "Dawn Elodie-Mikaelson because I'm the only child my mother and father have so I would like to carry the name on" Dawn smiled not even realising about what she had just said
