Ice Cream

A day after the funeral

Dixie POV:

The day have been going by slowly but going. I miss Noah, Tatum and Addi but they have been spending quality time snd I am coming to terms with that.

Me and charli have too we are now eating Chinese for lunch. She was on FaceTime with chase and we were just sitting there talking.

After a hour of her being in the phone She got off and we decided to play truth or dare.

"Truth or dare dixie" she said with a smirk

I smirked back and hers turned into a smile "truth charli" she giggled a bit and said.

"Why did you kiss nick"

Being my sister she was aloud to question me without me going off on her.

"Well after everything when nick told me he say Noah with another girl I freaked out I panicked. I'm a bitch charli and the first bitchy instinct I have is to have revenge so I kiss the closest person to me" water swelled my eyes so charli held my hand and smiled.

"My turn char truth or dare"

"Truth"

"How have you been personally in life"

I missed having these conversations with my sister about life in general.

"Well I'm at a good point I feel. Im bonding with you I still have a good relationship with addi. Chase and I are better than ever. I like that I'm no longer a bitch. I feel closure being friends with Noah and Tatum. Im sad that soon y'all will be leaving for college but I think that it is a good chance to make new friends"

I smiled and pulled her into a hug. "I almost forgot that soon I will have to be applying for colleges. Everyone will highly likely be separated. I don't think I'm ready for that either"

Charli nodded understanding how I felt in some way. For about a hour me and charli just talked about Noah, chase, friends, family, school, social media, etc.

I missed this. I missed her. I felt like everyone was doing there own thing and I forgot how to talk to char.

After a hour of talking, playing some more board games, watching tv charli said "let's go get ice cream"

I felt like I had been doing those same things for the past months so I've cream didn't seem so bad. "Yes"

"Okay I will be right back meet me down here" charli said before taking off.

She ran up the stairs and came back minutes after with her shoes and purse.

We both got in my car and drive to a ice cream shop we both ordered and sat down. The guy came around with our ice cream but started flirting.

"Hey can I have y'all's number" he said to me and charli.

Charli giggled and said "you can't be dating sisters" his faces turned a shade of red and then turned to me.

"Well since I can't I want yours" he said with a smirk that made him look like a 56 year old pervert.

"No thank you" I said in a half nice half bitchy voice and smiled.

"Why baby" he said steeping closer to the table.

I caught a glimpse of charlis face and she looked like she was about to kill him if I didn't find a way to make him leave.

"Because I don't want to give it to you" I said finding a way to move my chair back"

"But your really hot and I think we could do a lot together" He said smirking once more.

"I said no do you know what that is"

"Give my one reason why I should take your no and leave" he asked.

"Well because I have a boyfriend and he and my sister here are going to beat the shit out of you if you don't leave me the hell alone" I said anger building in my throat.

After I said that he looked at charli and he understood what I was talking about to he gave us out ice cream and left.

Charli held her hand out to fist bump me and I did the same gesture.

We ate the ice cream and laughed at what just happened.

Then we decided that a carnival was the next thing we should check on our sister day.

So we bought tickets and got back in my car to drive 30 minutes to the destination.

When we got there we parked and walked to the front.

Char had a list of the rides to go in and I had the list of the games we should play. We would both decided on the food as we go.

We did one of chars rides and then one of my games and we did that the whole time.

When it was about 8 and the sun was setting we got in the ferris wheel. We made it to the top and took pictures of ourselves and the sunset of Arizona.

After a few more rides and games we left. We made it back to the house and parted ways to our rooms.

I felt content and I felt happy as I drifted to the next day.
