Chapter 9: Let the hunt begin

Andito ako ngayon sa council room, yes pinabalik ako dito nina Dylan. I have no choice but to explain everyting sa nanngyari sa tower. The letter is freaking misleading!

"I cant believe naunahan niya tayo." Cole whispered pero narinig naman namin.

"That guy-

"Wait so...you snuck out sa party." Dylan started talking to me

"Yes." –Me

"You went found Lothaire in the tower?" –Brixx

"Yes...I was interested kung ano ang nasa loo-

"The door was hidden." Brixx added.

"I stepped on it." I lied, I was lying about finding Love sa tower. I already knew he was there.

"You went inside and slept with him." –Cole

"I swear walang nangyari ok? Nakatulog lang ako don." I explained.

"Mhmmm... is that the reason why your dress was a mess?" napamaang ako ng labi sa tanong ni Dylan. It sounded like we really did something.

"Ano ba? I already said that I tripped, hindi iyon galing kay Love." Inis na sagot ko sakanya.

"But you did kiss him, I mean yun lang ang way sa pag break ng curse niya. Kind of romantic actually." Nita butted in. I blushed, well yes it did happen.

"Wait talaga? He's your first kiss-" hindi natapos ang sasabihin ni Cole dahil biglang nagsalita si Dylan.

"Are you being seious?! That's your first kiss! I can't believe you throw it away like that!' he exclaimed, grabe maka react parang siya ang nahalikan.

"Well at least I save him from his curse. Ya'll are just selfish." I shrugged, I stand by at what I said. Naalala ko kasi yung nangyari sa book, Love was the villainess and the treated him like trash, like me.

Love and I are the villains in the story, but here we are. Befriending our enemies, preventing death to happen.

Wala sina Love at Theo ngayon, they were one of those who manage the competition.

"Master has a point. Ano ba problema niyo? It's just a kiss. You all are reacting like it's a big deal." Nita nibbled on her bottom lips.

"You are suppose to do that sa taong mapapangasawa mo. Love is engaged-

"Stop spouting nonsense Prince Brixx." Nagulat ako nang biglang nagalit si Nita, I don't know why but I should be mad too. "We all are just mere humans, do not force someone to marry just because it's for their family. Political marriage has nothing to do with love."

"Love? No, it's tradition. Royalties needs to marry someone who has power in order to get more power." –Brixx debated.

"Tradition is just peer pressure from dead people. Tao rin naman ang prinsipe, he can love and marry whoever he wanted. I don't get why you all need someone to gain power when you can do it by yourself? Right?" tumayo si Nita and glared at Brixx. "You royalties are weak without someone supporting your family. At least in my tribe, we are free. Not trapped and controlled."

Nag-walk out naman si Nita at tahimik lang ang lahat.

"Bro, I can't believe you got roasted by her." –Cole

"Shut up. Is she always this scary?" pfft muntik na akong matawa sa kumento ni Brixx. I mean Nita is indeed scary, like I said you can't win an argument with her. "Hey Dylan-"

"I don't know, she's no longer under me. tanungin mo si Lilith." –Dylan

"Well I'd agree with Nita." Nakangiting sabi ko sakanila. "I may have force all of you to get your attention pero things are different now. Tumigil na ako and I have found a guy who understands me."
