Sometimes I wondered what was wrong with me. Not to the fact I felt something was wrong. I was fine, but my reasonable mentality wasn't doing great. Tonight we had a snowstorm, and I decided to eat Chinese food at 10 PM. The restaurant was closed, and I was stuck in a store two kilometers away from campus. The snow rose, and I couldn't see a single thing through the intense powdered white blizzard pouring outside. I didn't have a car. Hell, I didn't even know how to drive.

"This is ridiculous." I sighed to myself.

I needed to leave now. I could call none of Mark's people because I didn't want anything to do with them. As a matter of fact, I shouldn't be out of campus, so I didn't want to argue with anyone. Chris lived an hour away from me, and he wasn't even an option, which left me with my only option. I unlocked my phone and scrolled through my contact for Julian's number. I found it registered under the name Julian with multiple hearts.

"Fuck you, Agea." I groaned before deleting the hearts and saved it only as Julian. I pressed the call button and brought the phone to my ear.

"Now, that's a surprise." He responded after three rings.

"Are you on campus?" I ignored his remark.

"No, I am in Davisville Avenue right now."

"Oh wow, there's a snowstorm, and you decided to go all the way to Davisville. How responsible of you." I reproached him.

"The last time I checked, my dick is fully grown at nineteen, mama; I do what I want."

"Not when you die!"

"Aww, I always knew you cared and loved me."

"Shut up. Can you come to pick me up?"

"What do you mean? Where are you?" He asked with a concerned tone.

"You know the restaurant in Yorkville Avenue? Dynasty? Well, I am at the store next to it, Anthropologie."

"Xemina, what the fuck you're doing there, by yourself in a fucking snowstorm, AND ITS TEN PM?" He yelled.

"Don't yell at me. I was craving Chinese food." I innocently said.

"You could have asked me to buy it for you." He sighed. "Wait for me; I'll be there."

I thanked him and hung up. I am starting to think what was happening to me was God's doing because there's no way I would make dumb decisions like that.

He finally showed up after thirty minutes. The black Rolls Royce covered with snow parked in front of the store and honked at me. I hurried to get into the car. The cold storm almost knocked me out.

After I closed the door and turned to look at him, what was he waiting to start driving?

"What lesson did we learn today?" He seriously questioned me.
