"i-it was okay" I answer with nervousness evident in my voice as i see Hunter giving me an angry look for lying.

"Oh really, because I was notified that you were absent from the last two lessons of the day" He continued as sweat started to form on my temple.

"If there's a problem, i will need to be notified immediately" He says as his head shoots up at me with daring eyes.

"I just um...didn't feel that well" I answer quietly as I stare at my food.

"Elaborate" Is all he says while his eyes are still digging into my soul.

"I was just so nervous about starting a new school" I say not really lying but not saying the exact truth either.

"So you're not going to tell him about your panic attack?" I get startled as I hear the words leave Hunter's mouth.

"Panic attack?! Are you ok?!" Enzo asks, concerned and surprised.

"Why didn't you say anything?" Zach asks with a also concerned voice I thought I would never hear.

"Enough! let her answer" Xavier says, slightly raising his voice.

"I'm sorry...i just... didn't want to talk about it" I sigh.

"But don't worry i'm ok now, it was a long day but i'll bet tomorrow will be better" I say trying to lighten the mood.

"Are you sure you're ok?" Enzo asks again which I nod in response.

"Then moving on to the next question, why did the twins and Noah inform me that they saw you eating lunch with guys?" Xavier asks as the seriousness in his expression makes me flinch.

"There was actually a girl there too" i anwer shyly which earned a deadly glare from Xavier and all the other brothers.

"Didn't i tell you before i dropped you off of school to not have any contact with boys" Zach says with anger making me remember how intimidating he is.

They stare at me with anger and rage. I feel my own anger interrupting.

"That's not fair!" I almost yell standing up from my seat.

As I realize what I had just done I immediately feel consumed by fear and regret. 'Ok now I might actually die' I thought as it was the first time I spoke out like that against them. I had barely lived with them for a week too which made it so much worse. I was still really scared of them even though I had become a bit more comfortable in my home and came to accept the outcome of my life.

I flinch as I hear Xavier stand up with fury in his eyes and walk up to me like he was about to strangle someone, probably me.

"I do not tolerate your disobedient behavior, stop now before you do something you'll regret later" He angely said as he looked down at me, almost daring me to say something. A few minutes of silence pass by as I try to wait for him to step back which he doesn't.

"Now tell me why it's so hard for you to follow the no boys rule?" He asks, breaking the silence.

"Because it's unavoidable and unrealistic" I answer as I try hiding the fear and the anger in my voice.

"I go to school with both girls and boys, to say that I shall not have any contact with boys is impossible even if I tried my best at avoiding them. There will always be projects and team assignments where you can't choose your partners" I argue trying to be as respectful as possible so that i won't get strangled after.

As silence again fills the room I see his expression changed into deep thought.

"Very well then. You will be able to talk to boys but only on school grounds, only talk and nothing more!" He finally says, making me sigh in relief.

"Agreed" I say while mentaly smirking at the victory.

"Don't worry Xavier i'll keep an eye on her as well during school time from now on" Zach assures.

"How can you do that if I'm in school?" I ask curiously knowing Zach is too old for school. "He's studying at the College beside your school" Enzo answered.

"Wait, so the school I go to is connected to a college as well?!" I ask surprised.

"Yes, it is. The students even eat in the same cafeteria and hang out in front of the school building. The school is so big which gives it room for all those students" Enzo explains.

"It's also because we own both schools, that's why the students can all eat and hang out together. Your former school that was burnt down is as you know also beside the school but they are not allowed to meet students from our schools" Noah explains.

"Why is that?" I ask, turning my head towards Noah.

"The students from both schools have a big class difference as well as a huge financial difference. The students from your old school are just ordinary people" Julian says, making me more confused.

'what does he mean ordinary, i mean i know about their business and all but the other students in school aren't like us right?' I think.

"Some of your cousins will also come to school as well. They were gone for a business trip but are now on their way back" Xavier says going back to his seat. 'Just great' (note the sarcasm)
