Dixie walked out of the hospital in delight. She saved a patient, it always put a smile on her face seeing the persons features light up with joy when you tell them they aren't dying, or the family members, you see relief course through there veins hearing such news.
Noah walked out after her. Interlocking their hands in a form of compassion.
"Nice save sweetheart." Noah said looking at her. "Thank you." Dixie said hopelessly tightening her grip on his hand.
"You never fail to amaze me."
"Your to kind." Dixie said giggling.
They started walking toward the parking lot, keeping their hands together as they did.
"Long time no see." A familiar voice stops both of them as they turned around.
"Kate?" They both said in unison. Looking at each other and than back at the girl who they both used to know.
"Miss me?" Kate asked with a wink.
