"don't forget about my phone chloe." i whispered to chloe as she's about to approach eunjin who's already at 'our meeting place' looking all sad and lost pfft.
"do you really think you've gained her trust enough for this plan of yours to work?" jungwon asked me as i smirked and nodded.
"positive." i said as we watched the scene happen from afar.
"won't she suspect the voice difference?" jungwon asked as i nodded.
"which is why i handed chloe my phone to support our lies if ever she asks about the voice." i said as wonnie nods.
"you did change eunjin's contact number back to normal during the party right?" heeseung asked as i couldn't help but laugh.
"i kept making it seem like i wanted us to have so much photos together so one time, i literally snatched her phone while pretending to be drunk, changed back eunjin's phone number, actually took photos of us together, and then i went straight to bed while fumbling so that she would think i passed out because of alcohol even though they can barely get me drunk no matter how much i drink." i explained which made heeseung pat the top of my shoulder.
"you're really really going for second place aren't you?" heeseung asked as i couldn't help but scoff.
"don't you dare get yourself ahead of this just because you're older, i can still beat you to this you know?" i said while holding on to heeseung's shoulder which made him look down, smirk at me, and then take off my hand off of his shoulder which tbh gave me so much chills.
"are you hearing yourself right now? you sound so pathetic rubbing it on my face that you are and you've always been a second placer." he says which made me clench my teeth out of anger.
"woah there, you better calm your angry tiddies right now cuz jay- i mean, chloe just texted me that eunjin actually agreed to accompany her after forgetting something at our- i mean her place ... i'll tell her that she needs to kind of slow down but not that slow so that we can still talk about what to do next at our crib." jake says while stuttering which made me laugh.
"i can tell that you still need some more sleep buddy ... now's not the time for that though so please please bear with us." i said as jake smiles before nodding.
"it's fine, it's no biggie." jake says as jungwon lightly pulls my shirt which made me face towards him.
"aren't we supposed to go?" he asked as i nodded and then gestured for the others to follow me back to the house.
