THIRD PERSON.
AS CORBYN WALKED INTO ONE OF THEIR MANY meeting rooms the next day for a meeting that Zach had deemed as important, he took a seat beside Daniel before folding his arms and leaning back in his chair, glancing around the room.
And to his surprise, despite the argument that they had yesterday morning, Kate was sat at the opposite side of the room with Jonah beside her, scrolling through her phone.
"Nice," he mumbled to Daniel as he huffed, "she's back."
"Stop complaining," Daniel replied, receiving a glare from Corbyn as he took a seat beside him, taking notice of Randy walking into the room.
As Zach and Jack followed in behind the man, late once again due to Zach sleeping in, they both sat down and placed their phones to one side before the attention was bought to Randy and Jon stood at the front of the room.
"Now that we have the billboard issue sorted," Randy spoke up before glancing over to Kate, "And we know who did it, we won't bring it up on social media or anything."
"We can't anyway, we're on that break." Jack said, the rest of them nodding in agreement.
"I was mostly speaking to Kate for that part." He said, looking over at Kate who gave him a nod before she sighed slightly.
"Did she apologise?" Corbyn asked, looking over at the girl as she turned her head towards him, "A sincere apology?"
"I did it yesterday," Kate replied with a mumble, turning her head back to Randy as Corbyn's smug smile on his face fell as he looked at Daniel.
"In other news," Randy said, disrupting their tension, "boys, how is the album coming along?"
"We're a little stuck on songs." Jonah folded his arms, "we have a lot we want to put on but we don't know how to choose."
"Okay, should we plan a separate meeting for that so Kate doesn't have to listen to stuff that doesn't concern her?" Randy suggested, receiving a nod from everyone, "Next Tuesday?"
"Sounds good." Jack nodded.
"Yep." Zach smiled slightly.
Throughout the next half hour, with Kate being in her own world for most of it as nothing really concerned her, the six of them were eventually dismissed.
"Kate can you stay a moment?" Randy asked as she sighed and sat back down in her seat, "It'll only be a minute."
Corbyn made sure to slowly tuck his chair back under the table and grab his phone as he glanced between his manager and Kate, taking small steps to the door.
"Corbyn," Daniel folded his arms, causing him to pick up the pace a little before closing the door to the room, "You're nosy."
"Why was Jonah sitting next to her?" Corbyn asked.
"He wanted to know about the whole billboard situation," he shrugged and backed away from the boy still stood by the door.
"Did he find out why is was only half done? Or why she did it?"
"Isaac was pushing the idea of ruining our career, ten minutes in she realised that it was wrong of her and told Isaac that she didn't want to do it anymore. She went home and the next morning it was half done." Daniel explained, "Isaac continued it and she fessed up, took the blame."
"But she never mentioned Isaac to me so-"
"Yeah, it's crazy what she does for a guy she's in love with." Daniel shrugged as he turned around and followed after Zach, "manipulation has a crazy way of messing up people."
Corbyn frowned as he slid his phone into his pocket, turning to face the door as soon as he heard it open and watched Kate walk out of it, giving him a glare as she walked past him.
"I didn't ask for an escort out of the building." Kate told him, heading towards the stairs as he followed after her.
"You didn't tell me Isaac did it."
"It doesn't matter who did it, it was a shitty thing to do." Kate shrugged.
"If you apologised and the problem is solved why won't you talk to me?" Corbyn asked her, still following her down the stairs.
"I was told I have better things to do," Kate told him, "Like... sleeping with a new guy every night and being a hoe."
"I didn't mean that." Corbyn mumbled, grabbing her wrist and turning her around to face him, "I was upset."
"When people are upset their true colours show." She said and nodded, "you said what you said and you meant it, I don't blame you."
"And I'm sorry to you that I did that." Kate continued while she glanced at the floor, "It was wrong-"
"It wasn't you doing it."
"It was wrong of me and I won't do it again." She said, ignoring his interruption during her apology.
"Kate." Corbyn frowned, "You're really letting some guy convince you that this is all okay."
"What?"
"Isaac is manipulating you." He said, watching her stare at him confused before she shook her head.
"He's fine." She shrugged, "He-"
"You can do better." Corbyn told her, "I'm sorry I interrupted you but you deserve better."
"Well when better comes maybe I'll take it, but for now he's just fine." Kate replied, giving him a forced smile before turning back around and leaving the building.
"Don't forget the date tomorrow." Corbyn called out, "Please."
