"I've got an idea."

————————————————————

Other than the odd spark of inspiration, the rest of Marinette's day had been uneventful. Though she desperately wanted to speak with Damian, she knew that he was probably tired and that his family would interrogate him more, if they hadn't done so already. Sighing, Marinette spun around on her desk chair. She had plenty of designs but she wasn't exactly in the mood to make them. Marinette felt bored. 'Maybe I could clean the bakery?' She thought to herself.

Walking down the stairs, the bluenette made herself busy. Cleaning the dishes, sweeping any fallen flour, wiping the windows, anything to keep her occupied. It only seemed to take a few minutes before the bakery was spotless, completely squeaky clean. Deciding that it wasn't enough, Marinette went on to clean the entire house, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. This task took a little longer but it was worth it. Once Marinette had finished the house seemed to sparkle like new. Proud of her work, the blue-eyed girl went back to her room and sat back on her desk chair. And she was bored yet again. The bluenette was about to go back down to the bakery to make something, macarons, or some pastries, when something popped in her head.

"Plagg, Tikki?", Marinette asked for the kwamis and they both appeared from somewhere in the room. Tikki sat on her desk in front of her while Plagg made himself comfortable on her shoulder.

"Yeah, Pigtails?", Plagg responded, he was probably eating Camembert since he smelt greatly of it, not like he didn't always smell of the cheese. Plagg was nice enough to stop eating it to listen to the bluenette, though he was very likely anxious to get back to it.

"Do you have any idea how Damian managed to figure out my identity? I mean, a few years ago you told me that there was magic protecting it, right Tikki?", Marinette turned to her red kwami.

"While there is magic, Damian is definitely to the type to break through it." Tikki's vague answer baffled the blue-eyed girl.

"What do you mean?", The bluenette asked, not understanding what her kwami was implying. It wasn't necessarily new, having her kwami tell her something she either did not know of or she didn't understand, but it didn't take long for Marinette to learn.

"Lover-boy is the son of the world's greatest detective and while being my true user does help, he most likely did all the work on his own." Plagg supplied, barely hiding the fact that he was proud with his chosen. Marinette blinked while Tikki nodded.

"Since he is the true user, the protective magic surrounding you weren't as strong around him, especially him being the true user of destruction. He might have been able to recognise your features and once that connection is made, everything just fits into place." Tikki finished, trying on one of the small hats that Marinette had made for her.

Marinette hummed. "What about Alya?"

"All it takes is one undeniable connection and the magic is lifted entirely. Alya's connection was realising you had a wound in the same place Ladybug got one." Tikki turned back to Marinette, how softly rubbed the place where she was impaled days ago. She turned to give Plagg a scratch on the head before looking back at her kwami.

"That does make sense, yes." She murmured, looking out of her bedroom window. "Do you think I should tell Chloe, Kagami, and Luka about being Ladybug?"

Tikki and Plagg exchanged a glance. After a few moments of silence, Tikki spoke up again. "It's up to you, Marinette"

Marinette looked thoughtful, weighing the pros and cons about telling more people about her super heroine activities. "I do want to tell them, but I think it would be best not to. For now." The two kwamis nodded before going back to where they were in the room previously, not after Plagg had asked to try on some of the hats that Tikki was wearing. Now being left to her own devices, Marinette thought if she should check the pages of the Grimoire. After a while of debating, she chose not to. Looking through the pages in her sketchbook, Marinette decided to just make something. For this particular design she would need to go out to get fabric. Which is what she did.
