Seri and Yoongi had come to the latter's bedroom after Namjoon had announced that they had the week off from tomorrow. Yoongi had set up his mattress on the floor while Seri went to the washroom to brush her teeth and get ready for bed. After her he went to the washroom while she scrolled through her instagram. Her recent picture that she had edited and posted yesterday had reached thirty thousand likes and she had also gained hundred new followers in the past twenty four hours. She felt quite satisfied with the growth.

Yoongi came out of the washroom with slightly wet hair probably from washing his face. His grey towel was hanging from his neck. He was wearing a white t-shirt and his worn out black shorts that he always wore to bed. Till date Seri does not know the reason why she looked away from him because of not being able to meet his eyes.

They both sat on the bed facing each other and that is when the questioning round started.

"Who told you about my date?"

Seri bit her lower lips nervously. It's not like she was planning to hide this little piece of information from him but she just could not find the right moment to tell him.

"Why? Were you planning to not tell me anything about it at all?"

His gaze was too intense for her to even understand what he had just said or had he asked her something?

When she didn't reply for a good whole minute Yoongi waved his hand in front of her to bring her attention back to him.

"Were you thinking of excuses just now?" He accused her.

"Can you repeat your previous question?"

"You aren't even paying attention to what I am saying, Seri-ah. What are you so busy thinking about? Is it him?"

His voice had become lower than usual.

"No, I wasn't. I did not tell anything because there wasn't anything to tell. I have been on plenty of dates before and I usually tell you about them after I meet the guy once or twice. Why would this time be any different?"

Her focus was solely on Yoongi now.

Because now I want to be the man you go out with.

"So, spill. What is his name? What does he do? Was he good to you?"

"His name in Cha Sanghoon. He is a lawyer at a law firm here in Seoul. He took me to a decent restaurant. He paid for the dinner while I paid for the coffee we had after a short walk. Do you remember Yura from school?"

Yoongi tried to recall where he had heard this name before.

"Oh, Yura from grade two. Yes, I do remember her."

"She set me up with him. When she called me last month in Paris I told her that I was not seeing anyone right now. So, she told me about Sanghoon-ssi."

"Why is it so important to date anyway?" Yoongi said bitterly.

"Most of all our friends from school are either married or engaged. I am going to turn twenty seven this year. I would like to find a guy soon so that I can settle down by the time I am in my early thirties. I know my profession never allowed me to stay in a single place before but I want to change that in the coming years. I want a husband and maybe hopefully children one day, Yoongi-ah."

Seri was baring her heart out to her best friend. These desires were buried deep inside of her and Yoongi was the first person in the entire world to know about them.

"Are you planning to go on a second date with him?" Yoongi asked this question even though he prayed in his heart that she said no.

"Maybe. I don't want to come off as someone too desperate let's give it a few days and see what happens. He seemed like a sweet guy. I am sleepy now." Seri turned towards the lamp on the side table and switched it off. Yoongi also got down from the bed and went to lay down on his mattress.

After a few minutes he heard her light snores but there was no sign of sleep in his eyes. His mind was working on overdrive. He had never really thought about marriage before. Okay, maybe he had thought about it but it was before he debuted with BTS. Since the debut he has not even had time to think about his next meal let alone spending his life with one person. But now that Seri had brought the topic up he could understand its appeal. Loving only one person and dedicating your love and respect to them seemed nice.

Of course none of this could happen while he was still a part of BTS. The members had dated before while being the part of the band but nothing too serious. They had discussed about this and came to the conclusion that frankly there was no time for them to date at the moment. However, they seemed happy when Yoongi told them about Seri.

He did not know when or how but he was going to confess his feelings to Seri soon. Not because he wanted to get it over with but because he had never really hidden something this big from her before. This is the first time in his nearly twenty seven years of life that he had thought more about a woman than music and songs. If she is around his entire attention is focused on her and if she isn't around his mind is filled with thoughts of her.

Eight year old Yoongi had told Seri that he was going to be with her all her life maybe unknowingly he had written his destiny by his own hands all those years ago.

He chuckled quietly at the old memory and decided to sleep.

Tomorrow is going to be day one of the rest of his life.
