(Ceasar P.O.V.)

It's been about 2 weeks since we fought. I have been trying my best to stay away from her as she wanted and just concentrate on work. I got about 5 projects done since that day, I honestly feel like my office is my new room.

Today Dani's son is coming back from training. He took it upon himself to go back to Russia to train with my brother's cartel. Seeing how things are going over there Dani told him to come home.

We're having a little surprise for Lyssa, Ace and her have been friends since they were creeping. Danielius and I know Ace likes her a lot, which is why he went to train. To protect her he said. I think it's cute he thinks I would let them be together. He might end up like Lyssa's ex, poor guy got a bullet to his head.

Laughing to myself I got up and walked to the kitchen to prepare for dinner. I heard little voices from in there as I came closer. Standing in a little corner, where they couldn't see me, I listened to the conversation.

"Soo, I gotta tell you something," Lyssa said

"Oh, what?"

"I think I fucked up," she said

"What did you do?" Jul asked in a warning tone. Crossing my arms I listened in more.

"I think I made my dad and his fling break up," Lyssa said

"What!".. yeah what!

"Listen, he doesn't even come out of his office anymore and the happiness I saw is suddenly disappeared so that-"

Okay, that's enough of that. Walking into the kitchen I cleared my throat and looked at Lyssa.

"Dad um hey," she said shocked

"What were you guys chatting about?" I asked

"Oh um nothing, I was just telling Julie about this thing that happened to me at a party"

"Oh," I said looking at them. Jul was staring in the opposite direction and Lyssa had guilt plastered all over her face.

"Well since you both are here, I might as well tell you now. Danielius and his family are coming to dinner tonight, my sister Chanel will be coming with her son too." I informed them.

"No way Aunt Nell is coming, Yesss," Lyssa squealed.

Jul slightly turned her head to me and nodded. I walked over to the fridge checking to see if I needed to go to the store for.

"What do you girls think we should get for dessert?" I asked

"Can we have cheesecake?" Lyssa asked

"Oh my God yess, especially the ones with the cherry on top," Jul said excitedly. That was the first time she talked to me in what seemed like forever.

Closing the fridge I looked at them and smile, "Sure, I'll the assorted one so that everyone can have their favorite piece."

Jul gave me a smile and Lyssa was just staring at the counter...

"Lyssa? Lyssa, what's wrong?" I asked getting worried.

"You said Danielius family, usually you would say and his wife...Which means..no"

"What does it mean Lyssa?" Jul asked her

Closing my eyes I said "fuck" softly. She connected the pieces, so much for a surprise.

"Dad no, I gotta go get my hair done omg my nails... I gotta get them too, I have to find clothes"

"Lyssa calm down," I said
