it has been a few weeks since we have been here, and everyone is fine, my twins and I have been trying to build a relationship with our new-found family, I hang out with Helena, Antonio, Hermes, and Val the most because even though Romeo us as much of an asshole as he was at first he still hadn't apologized, Vince hadn't even tried to do something with us, the only time I kind of had a conversation with him was the other day in the library, I don't know why he clearly wants to approach us but for some reason, he is holding back, maybe he is just scared

Atlas decided to come out to our biological since they don't know he is gay— at least that is what he thinks but I am pretty sure they are aware of his sexuality, he makes it  obvious by commenting on every guy's ass and then hitting on them "so I asked for this family meeting because I have something to tell you guys" Atlas announced to all of who are sitting in the living room as he requested "are you pregnant " Hermes asked worried, we all looked at him like he is crazy— which he certainly is. When he realizes what he just said he gave us a sheepish look before we all turned back to Atlas expecting an explanation even though Ares and I knew what he was gonna announced we didn't say anything it was his right to tell them, they seem to start getting impatient and slightly concerned when Atlas didn't say anything

he is probably lost in the LaLaland he created in his head

I cleared my throat, thankfully breaking my dumb brother's thoughts "right, I just wanted to inform you guys that ........ I am gay " he said nervously

silence

that was all I heard until they broke it "we know " they all said in unison, Atlas looked at them in disbelief "w-what h-how "he stuttered shocked by their reaction "well let's start, you hit on every single one of my friends "Val started "you made out with my best friend and got his number "Hermes continued "let's not forget the time you flirted with my business partner who may I add is 10 years older than you" Antonio added "you stare at every guy's ass and give them the 'please fuck me' look—" Romeo started but was cut off by Altas "okay okay I get it, so you are alright with it" he asked hesitantly

not the reaction I was expecting but well at least they aren't homophobic bastards

"of course honey why would we be, who you love doesn't define you, you are still Atlas and will always be our Atlas, we love you no matter what, and nothing can change that " Mo—I mean Helena reassured him while hugging him tightly "your mother is right bambino, we support you and love you no matter what, you should never be ashamed of who you are, your sexuality doesn't define your personality and morals, you will always be our baby and we are so proud of you for not being afraid to be who you truly are " Vince smiled softly at him and then kissed his forehead, bio brothers nodded agreed with their parents

my phone vibrated in my hand, I realized that I had a tone of unseen messages and missed calls "well as much as this was beautiful and emotional Atlas, Ares and I have to go" I announced shifting all the attention to me "where are you going" Vince asker curiously and suspiciously "to meet some old friends at a coffee shop " I smoothly lied. I have trained for years. I learned how to control my emotions, the best advice I was given in the dark art of lying is to believe your lie, once you believed it the others will, it is all a mind game a sort of manipulation that take years of practice to do it perfectly

As I suspected they believed my lie, I dragged my twins out of the living room to the garage where our cars were, we got in my black Audi R8  "Pa and Al have been calling me for hours we are late we said we would be here at 11 and now it is 12 they must be worried "I explained why I had rushed them out of the house "they probably tracked our phone and know we are safe because they haven't sent men to after us " Ares assured "yeah I just texted Elias that we are on our way and he said 'ok' he is literally the worst dry texter I have ever met " Atlas said  

we planed on visiting our non-blood-related family today since tomorrow is the day, and we need to be here for each other's today, I missed them so much but we couldn't see them before they wanted us to start getting a bit comfortable with our biologicals before we visit them or they met them

Every day we spend apart feels like weeks, it had been months since we saw them, the plan was that we finish our mission in LA and then we return back home but well with everything that happened we returned back to NYC but not to our home, I missed the laugher and warmth's that consumed the Rodriguez's mansion, I missed my family, the ones that loved me at my darkest and helped me stand up when I fell, the ones that held my hand and bought me out of the darkness than let me toward the light, they were my angels, but most importantly I missed the place that was filled with the memories of him

I grabbed the wheel tighter, my knuckles turning white as I try to hold back the tears that are threatening to escape, just for a few hours Astraea then you can let go, I convinced myself

"Hola, we missed you, little ones " one of our most trusted guard Sergio greeted us with the biggest grin on his face ,when he saw us entering the estate " we missed home too Serg " I smiled back, not a lot of people had the pleasure of seeing my smile but Serg has been with us since the Rodriguez had took us in, he has a lovely wife and the most bubbly daughter you will ever meet "we are glad your all back " another voice said as we got out of the car, I turned my head to be met with Alvaro one of the youngest capos in the Spanish mafia, being 22 years old didn't make his job easier as lots of people tend to underestimate his abilities and disrespect him, he also happens to be one of my closest friends "Holla Alvaro, you look even more handsome than the last time i saw you" I kissed his cheek "don't you have a boyfriend" he teased "oh please as if, I would never do anything like that with you, your like my brother " I rolled my eyes, he chuckled "come one they are waiting for you guys since they woke up, they really missed you " he informed us referring to our family, we made our way to the door and once we got inside, all the momeries I have here came back. A huge grin took over my face without me even noticing

"your favorite child/sibling is home" I yelled
