to stream or to not

having a busy day was usually fun as you never really had much on your day to day schedule unless ryan sent you around to do stuff with him

but today was unlike no other.

not only did you have two separate meetings, but you also had to get two separate fittings and you had to drive a few hours out to pick up something for ryan. originally, he had someone else picking up his package but they ditched him and you felt bad for him.

the two meetings didn't last as long as you thought they would but the fittings lasted what felt like a lifetime.

you then were stuck in traffic for what felt like forever just to pick up ryan's package. eager enough for it, he called you to, of course, ask about it.

"hey y/n!" he greeted

you replied "hi ryan" as you put him on speaker

"where have you gone? seems like you've been gone forever," he questions, only to receive a sigh back as a temporary reply

"well, i had to do my stuff first.. the two meetings and the two fittings. i'm on my way to pick up your package now, i'm just stuck in traffic, unfortunately."

you and ryan chatted for a bit more.

you were thankful that he kept you company for most of the slow car ride

as you were about to end the call ryan started to shout at mason, which is really nothing new anymore. "tell mason that i said hi!" you tell ryan

"mason, stop poking me or i won't tell you what y/n wanted me to tell you!" ryan grunts threatening him

silence fills both sides of the call

"i'm sorry, ryan.." mason mumbles unhappily with what he had to do just to hear what you said

unlike mason, ryan was happy with the result so he gave in and told mason what you wanted ryan to tell him "mason, y/n said hi."

the call lasted for a bit longer because ryan handed mason the phone so you and mason talked for a bit with ryan chipping in from time to time

"okay, y/n, we've got to go!" mason whines

you smile "okay, i'll talk to you boys whenever i get back home."

the call ended and then you were alone again.. not for too long luckily as you were only 15 minutes away from where you're supposed to be picking up the package

you stepped inside the house while placing ryan's heavy package on the island table

"never again," you tell yourself

you walk to your room to prepare for a shower as today's whole journey has had you sweating

"hi!" a deep voice suddenly spoke

you smiled as you immediately recognized it was cameron's voice "hi.." you replied and spun around to face where he was standing

he pulls you in for a hug and as you relax your body into it he realizes that you're tired

"rough day?" he quickly asked only for you to mumble a small "mhm" as an answer to his question

"go shower" cam paused mid-sentence to process and idea "and we can hang out after you're done, okay?" you nodded into the hug because you liked his idea but you desperately didn't want to let go

eventually, you did, though

the shower was exactly what you needed, especially after your long day
