"Your father, His Majesty Claude De Alger Obelia." Lily said as I stared at the picture blankly before looking at my sister who just froze. 'What did you just say?' I thought in my head still staring at the picture. "His Majesty, Claude De Alger Obelia." She repeated as Rosia and I turned to look at her at the same time. 'No way... Why does he have the same name as that emperor from that book? Ugh.' We thought at the same time. "Your name is Princess Athanasia De Alger Obelia." She said as she pointed at me. "And your name is Ambrosia De Alger Obelia." She said as she pointed towards Rosia.

'We both have the same full name as the princesses from the book.' Rosia thought to me telepathically. "Princesses, you are both his Majesty's precious daughters." Lily told us as she smiled at us gently. 'Woah... It's uncanny how identical things are. And how annoying... Is it just me? Why am I getting shivers down my spine? Haha...' I thought to myself denying the similarities between my sister and the characters of the book.

'Let's see... How did that novel go? "Lovely Princess" is a romance fantasy novel that was a big hit online. Like the title, there are lovely princesses in the book. Among the three princesses of the Obelia Empire, the protagonist is the Second Princess, Jennette with Ambrosia coming close as the Third Princess.' I thought as I went over the details of the novel. 'She, like Rosia, is a beautiful princess with an angelic heart, and she is not only beloved by her nation, but the whole continent.' I thought.

'And among those who adored Jennette, was her father Emperor Claude. To his people, he is praised as a hero and a savior of the nation. But in truth he is a heartless man who killed his elder brother, the proper heir, and sat himself on the throne. Jennette was the kind of person who could melt  the heart of even the cold-blooded man like him. Claude only learned of Jennette's existence when she turned 14. Jennette's mother was Claude's fiancee. After enraging him and losing her place as his bride-to-be, she died while giving birth to Jennette.' was what I explained to Rosia which I knew was listening.

'Jennette's aunt tried to protect her niece from Claude... By hiding her away in the care of the Alpheus family. After realizing her existence, Claude was cold towards Jennette at first. However, Princess Jennette, being an unbelievably loveable person due to being the protagonist, eventually melted the cold icy fort that was Claude. Supported by her father, the king, she was wed to Prince Alpheus, the best man in the empire fit to be a husband, and lived happily ever after...' I thought as I pouted angrily at the thought.

"Eww eesii." I spoke out loud at my thought. 'Those bastards!! On the other hand, what about the treatment of the first and third princess...?! Athanasia was the first born princess and same age as Jennette along with Ambrosia. Athanasia and Ambrosia's existence was informed to Claude the moment they were born. But, he leaves them both in the palace for concubines. Thanks to that, Athanasia and Ambrosia grow up to be a fragile princess, always on edge.' I explained the past of the princesses in Lovely Princess.

'The first time they ever see their father was on their ninth birthday. Led by the lights and the noise of the banquet, they leave the Ruby Palace late that night. Where they both met Claude in the garden of the Emperor's palace.' I thought as I remember the scene I imagined while reading the book. It said that Athanasia gaze up at Claude with a look of wonder, hope and excitement. Ambrosia on the other hand smiled at him and touched his pants before he turned away from them.

'Of course, Claude turns away and leaves, uninterested. But to girls like Athanasia and Ambrosia who's never received any affection, this was quite a fateful encounter. They try with all their might to be loved by their father... All they got were glares, although, Ambrosia's weren't as bad as Athy's but they were still cold nonetheless... Thus growing up into two beauties with both skill and grace. And on the day of the sisters debutante when they turned 14, their dream gets shattered into a pieces.'

'Athanasia, with her gloomy and foggy disposition, Ambrosia the same way as her sister but she still wore a kind smile, and Jennette, bright and cheery as the sun. Perhaps it was inevitable that everyone loved Jennette more that the first and third princess. Athanasia and Ambrosia were really nice girls too, just that Jennette was supposed to be the best girl in the book. Instead of being jealous of Jennette, she teaches her the ways of the palace. Ah, you both are dummies. You should have looked out for yourselves.' I thought at the sad past they endured together.

'But Athanasia, she loses the very thing she ever wanted to Jennette, her father's love. Well, I suppose you can't lose what you never had. On top of everything, those poor princesses gets killed by their own father. Accused of putting poison in Jennette's glass. Athy was framed, of course with Ambrosia getting involved for trying to prove her sisters innocence. Jennette's aunt was behind it all. An elaborate scheme to make her niece the first heir of the throne. Which was unnecessary since Claude didn't give Athanasia a single thought of the throne for the seat in the first place.' I thought.

'On the contrary, if she knew it was poisoned she would have gladly drink that glass herself to save Jennette. Because if something bad had happened to Jennette, it would have gravely saddened Claude. As you can see Athanasia and Ambrosia were poor, foolish princesses. Jennette's aunt must have simply intended to her from inheriting the throne, or to have her confined... But Claude cannot be underestimated, he killed Athanasia without a single thought even before she was found guilty. Ambrosia was besides her as they were both hanged. Rosia wouldn't abandoned her sister and died along side her with a smile still on her face.' In my opinion, I thought that was sad knowing she couldn't help her sister but died along side her.

'It was their 18th birthday, exactly 9 years after the day they met him for the first time in the garden. Eventually the truth was revealed but Claude never felt an ounce of guilt or regret for killing his first daughter. Although he did felt regret for his third daughter. Although it never explained any further on why.' I thought not aware that Rosia crawled towards me.

Jennette suffers from guilt...until she is comforted in her fiance's arm and puts the ordeal behind her. And the story "ends with a happily ever after." I just don't get why the first and third princesses had to die such a meaningless death. Pisses me off again just thinking about it.' I thought as I saw Rosia look at me with a confuses look as she heard the last sentence in my head. I just chuckled at her expression and blocked the mind link allowing her to grab the ball.

'Well it's not like I really liked Athanasia, but...she's better that Claude and Jennette though. I could care less what happens to other people in this world as long as Rosia and I are happy. But I can't just stand by and watch. Why, you ask? Because it seems that my little sister and I became that Athanasia and Ambrosia, that's why!' I shouted in my mind unaware that I unblocked the mind link allowing Rosia to hear. "Waaaaaaa~!" I shouted as Rosia rushed to me... I meant crawling fast towards me. "P-princess what's wrong?!" A maid shouted confused by my behavior.

Ambrosia's P.O.V
I was playing with the rattle rolling and shaking it until I heard Athy's voice in my head. 'I just don't get why the first and third princesses had to die such a meaningless death. Pisses me off again just thinking about it.' I heard in my head. I looked back at her confused by what she was meaning. Instead she chuckled nervously and waved her hand in an ignore me gesture. I shook it off and grabbed the ball from her moving a but away from her.

"Waaaaaaa~!" was what I heard 4 minutes causing me to jump in shock as I saw Athy on her hands shouting. I rushed as fast as I could while crawling towards her as the maid asked her what was wrong only to be ignored. As I jumped on her back causing her to fall and look at me with an annoyed face. Only for me to smile at her before crawling away.
