Nobody's pov

It was after 12 o'clock and her husband had not yet returned home. He had been coming back at late hours for a few days and his excuse was that he was going out with his brother and his friends.

Y/n knew full well that Souya wasn't someone who would cheat on her, not after all they had done together.

The 22-year-old sits up composed when she hears the sound of the key being inserted into the lock and then turned, causing the door to open.

Souya immediately passed his gaze to her, as the only light on was next to her.

« Are you still awake?» he asks surprised.

In response he received a glare from his wife.

« Can you tell me what the fuck you and your friends are celebrating every night?» she asks with her arms crossed and an angry expression.

The man didn't know what to say and he wasn't lucid enough to answer, so he preferred to keep his mouth closed.

Souya lowers his gaze and hopes that she will let him go like the past few nights.

And as expected, Y/n looks at him one last time and then leaves for their room, leaving Angry sighing with relief.

But it was too good to be true. In fact, the next morning when he tried to approach her, she purposely walked away without even greeting him good morning.

« Y/n-chan sorry» but he was ignored.

« I promise I won't go out again» he added hoping she would at least say a word to him.

He hated it when someone close to him acted like that, especially if it was his beloved wife.

She sighed and looked at him but said nothing. She grabbed her purse and got ready to go to work, leaving her dear husband alone.

« I know how to make you talk» he mumbled to himself when she finally left his field of vision.

He wasted no time and began to make things difficult for her. He removed a light bulb that was around her mirror and hid it in a high shelf.

He took some jars that she would use as soon as she returned, and tightened the caps on the vassels, making it impossible for Y/n to open them.

He also put some items, such as slippers or comfortable clothes that she would put on after returning from work, in places higher than her height.

So she would necessarily have to ask for his help.

He couldn't wait for her to come back and talk to him again.

In the meantime he checked his phone, in case she had left any messages.

He also thought about whether he should make her something to eat but he preferred to sit on the couch and wait for her return.

« There she is» he thought happily and set about doing something to not give too much suspicion.

When he finally saw her come in, he started sneaking glances at her every move wondering when she would call him.

Minutes passed and nothing; Souya got up and went to see if everything was okay, and when he saw her in the bathroom putting in a new light bulb he widened his eyes.

He looked at her facial expression and saw neither anger or disappointment, she was calm.

« Did she manage to find it?» he thought and went to check the place where he had hidden the light bulb. It was still there so she had gotten a new one.

« I should have hid them too» he thought a little disappointed.

He huffed and returned to the living room, where he waited patiently for her return.

If gestures didn't work he would use words.

But before he could even think of an excuse to call her, the young woman sits down next to him.

« I went too far last night. I mean you're not a child and I'm not your mother to tell you to come home early; you have every right to go wherever you want» Y/n says as she looks him straight in the eye.

The young man gave a small and rare smile that only very few people were able to admire.

« So you're not angry anymore?» he asks as he looked at her like a child.

It was this part of him that fascinated (attracted) Y/n: even though he held an angry expression he was the kindest person she have ever met.

« I'm not angry» she replies and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek, turning his cheeks red causing him to look away from her.

« I regret avoiding you all day» she declares and runs her hand through her husband's teal hair.

During the day she too checked her phone repeatedly, hoping for some message from him.

« Don't worry it's okay» he replies as he wraps his hand around her wrist, then pulls her closer to him making her head rest on his chest.

« It's enough for me that you talked to me again» he says and pulls her even closer to himself, as if he were afraid of losing her.

« You don't know how lucky I am to have you»
