The sun was merciless when it glared from the window on Mia's face.

Another day. Mia thought as she woke up slowly from the sleepy fog. Another day of living like this.
Another day feeling like this. Another day when she woke up without feeling someone's warmth enclosing her. Another day when she was missing someone's smile.

Where was she? Who was she? Did it matter anymore.

Everyday she would think that she maybe next morning she would get used to this feeling of immense loneliness and hopelessness. And everyday would suprise her that how it was not the case. They say time heals but in her case time was ripping her apart.

She sat up on the bed and stared at the unfamiliar walls. These was her room for now. It was his room, on the rare occasion he would come and stay which was not very often. And hence this place was so empty. And Mia could only fill it with gloominess, as there was no other emotion left in her.

She went into the bathroom. Took a shower. And looked into the mirror. How many times she had done this, gazed into the dark abyss and questioned everything, especially on that moments when her life was turning upside down. She had thought that she knew grief and depression. How naive was she? She had underestimated the power of pain. Everything had always affected her more and she had always avoided getting seriously hurt. Even then it was painful but she had managed it by running away, by crying, by forgetting.

But when it was right in front of her, where can she run now?

People always say, express your love. Because you never know when it would be your last day with your loved one. Everyone would think that Mia now would be one of those people or at least she would have learnt a lesson. But it was not the case.

She couldn't imagine now more than ever that she could love freely and fearlessly when she had come to know the immense pain that kind of love brought with it.

She could feel a ocean but what she can express is just a drop.

And a drop just left her eye and gone down her cheek. Only a drop.

She wiped the remnants of it from her face and went out.

The walls of this house was filled with a couple of pictures of the three brothers from kids to adult, playing, goofing, posing. They look happy, they look perfect, their eyes shine with life. It was truth but not.

She had only one memory of this place, of the mansion in the middle of the city. And now she was living in it for more than two months. It still didn't feel like home. It was a house which held dark memories in it. But it was closer to the office building of RFC.

When she entered the dining room, Arav was sitting there. Laptop opened in front of him but seemingly lost in thought. She could hear Manvi working in the kitchen. And she knows Meera Ma had went to a temple and she would spent her whole day there and then at the hospital. Meera Ma couldn't bear to be in this house but she always comes back because in a long time they need each other as a family.

What was a family? Mia ask herself often and she hadn't find her answer yet.

She called to Arav but he didn't listen. He was so lost this past days, Mia just wanted him to feel a little less burdened. He slowly noticed her when she approached him, she tried to give him a smile which he didn't return back.

Just then, Manvi came in the dining room with breakfast. She had been a rock for them in tough times. She could choose not to especially when Arav was not the person she fell in love with. He barely acknowledge her and her support in the middle of the chaos but she was still with him waiting and caring for him.
