Chapter 21: Mommy Dearest

Nana's POV

A week had already passed since UA held the amazing cultural festival and we the Class 1-A students with all our capabilities performed a flashy and lively musical performance, receiving a ton of applause and an ovation from the audience at the end of the show. I was really glad that everyone enjoyed our performance, especially Eri. It was very important for Midoriya, Mirio, and I to free Eri from Overhaul's grip on her psyche from her consciousness and make her smile again, and seemed like it actually worked, making us feel happy and relieved about her recovery.

November was coming to an end and December was on its way which means my birthday was approaching as well. I was going to turn sixteen this year. It's on the 5th of December and yes I'm a Sagittarius.

Right now, I was in my dorm room, getting all dressed up to visit a certain person. Today was the day I was going to meet Shoto and Touya's mother again. It had been so long since I last saw the matriarch of the Todoroki household.

I inhaled sharply and stood in front of the mirror, placing a blue flame-shaped necklace around my neck. 

Touya gave me this pretty blue flame-shaped pendant on my 5th birthday a long time ago and that was the last time I celebrated my birthday with him before he passed away. I wore an olive-green-colored jacket over a dress and a pair of black boots.
