[Best You Ever Had]

Aubrey turned off her phone and placed it on her dresser, letting out a small huff

"I'm really moving tomorrow aren't I" she said to herself, her tired voice, sounding more like a whisper that echoed off the now empty walls of her room

The artwork she spent months working on where currently sitting in the back of a mailing truck, most likely being tossed around, as they get to her new house,

She loved her little New York apartment, it was her little safe haven, an escape from her crazy world, where fans didn't ask for pictures, and cameras didn't flash in her face,

"I'm going to miss you" she said out loud, the same echoing sound dancing on the walls and around her room dissolving out.

She closed her eyes as she let her body relax into the white sheets, in 8 hours Noah, her older brother, would be picking her up to take her to LA. She was supposed to fly out, but Noah insisted on taking the drive giving her more time to process the fact she was moving across the country.

Aubrey's eyelids grew heavy as she thought about her new life in LA. It had been a dream of hers for quite some time, and when her older brother Noah had got the opportunity Jealousy was an understatement. She had fallen asleep to the thought of seeing the Hollywood sign, and meeting all kids of celebrities.

MORNING

Aubrey's eyes fluttered open as her brother shook her awake,

"Hey, Aubrey get up" Noah said shaking her body side to side to waken her

Aubrey let out a groan and fully opened her eyes, giving her brother a glare

"What time is is"

"6:28"

Aubrey let out a loud groan

"Noah it's 6:00 in the morning, why are you waking me up and how are you even in my house" Aubrey said as she threw her self into the pillows behind her

"Well I thought we could start the day off early you know, shop at some stores before we go, and your door was unlocked" Noah said as he looked at himself in the bathroom mirror, fingers combing back his brown hair.

"Oh crap! I must've forgot to lock the door last night" Aubrey said internally scolding herself as she got out of bed. The cold air of the morning, causing her teeth to chatter a bit and her skin grew goosebumps

"I was kidding, your door man let me in" Noah said as he faced Aubrey, a small but teasing smile on his lips

"Jesus Jimmy let's anybody in, the other day, some girl said she was my cousin and he let her up here" Aubrey said as she put her hair in a ponytail.

"No way, what did you do?" Noah said his arms crossing over his chest with a chuckle

"Well when she got up her I asked who she was and she told me how I was her biggest inspiration, and I mean a lot to her" Aubrey said as she walked to the bathroom Noah following her, jumping on the counter to sit down while Aubrey washed her face

"And what did you say" Noah asked

"I didn't say anything, I just hugged her" Aubrey said as she massaged soap onto her face

Noah let out a little snicker, even in serious situations he was one to let a little giggle slip once or twice.

"So a girl just shows up to your house, pours her heart out to you, and you just hug her" Noah said as he shook his head with a smile

"I was in shock Noah, fans don't usually come knocking at my door and pour there heart out to me" Aubrey said as she rolled her eyes at her brother

"Point taken, anyway... I saw you posted after like months of going inactive, what made you want to post?" Noah asked as he played with the cord to Aubrey's straightener
