"You sure about this?" Spencer questioned Olivia as we walked in through the gates

"Not at all. In fact girls trip is on again in 20 minutes." She answered

"You got this." Spencer said grabbing her hands

"Now that's just gross. I'm already 3rd wheeling." I mumbled as we turned a corner facing a big house

"Yo, Asher lives here?" Spencer asked

"Yeah, not my style. It's a little "winters coming" if you ask me, but it does have a bowling alley" Olivia said looking at the house

"So any advice? Rules I should know?" Spencer asked

"Stay away from the dare chips." Liv warned

"The what?" Spencer's confused.

"You'll see. Y'all got rules in Crenshaw?" Olivia asked

"Yeah and it's funny cause the rule is made after jaaliyah." Spencer said looking at me

"Huh?" Olivia said confused

"Don't step on nobody's feet" Spencer and I said in sync and Olivia nodded

"Okay well now that makes sense on how it was made after her. I'll watch my step." She flirted with Spencer

"I'm sick of yall lovey dovey shit. Don't get me wrong I ship y'all but this is disgusting." I groaned

"Jaaliyah you have no room to talk. You keep on and imma tell my mom what you did in that park in Crenshaw" Spencer warned me. i was genuinely confused.

"Park in Cren-? No don't tell her about that! Bro how do you even know about that" it clicked. He saw me and Shawn.

"I have my ways. Imma go holler at my boys real quick, ight?" Spencer said walking away then Layla walked to us.

"Virgin lemonade." She said handing Olivia the cup then handed you a different cup. I drank the liquid but didn't swallow it, I immediately spit it out to the side.

"Omg, was it too strong?" Layla asked

"Liv I'm soooo sorry" I immediately apologized

"No it's fine! You technically didn't ruin it. You didn't swallow it therefore you still have your sobriety, stop stressing" she reassured

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Jali." Layla apologized. Jali? Thats a new one but i just went with it.

"It's ok Lay, you didn't know. Plus I trust you, you know one of my biggest secrets and you haven't said anything." I said forgetting that I haven't told Olivia

"What secret? Do I know?" Olivia asked

"It's nothing. Let's just forget about this and have fun!" I brushed it off leaving Liv concerned.

"You and Spencer look good together" Layla stated

"We're not together, Layla, you know this" Olivia responded

"Maybe if he knew that you liked him"-layla

"Exactly! Something ive been trying to tell her" you said crossing your arms

"Stop trying to play matchmaker" Olivia rolled her eyes

"Sorry, I just want you to be happy"-Layla

"I'm not sorry. Imma get yall together sooner or later"-you

Y'all are looking at the poker table. Olivia explained that this is the reason why Ashers parties are so legendary.

"So if I get high is that breaking my sobriety? I technically didn't have a problem in that category, it was a drinking problem" you asked hoping she said you could get high.
