Okay, Serenity, no big deal.
You're just going out to have breakfast with Estrella, no biggie. It can also mean that Estrella has maybe caught me sneaking in the house when I thought nobody saw me.
Then again, if she and Luciano knew my parents from 20 years ago, then how come they haven't caught onto the fact that Odette and I literally look like a copy of our parents? Like Odette looks like our mama and I look like our papa.
"Elijah can you please unhook your arm around my waist so I can go get ready?"
"So you can leave me to hang at Odette's office all day? I don't fucking think so." He replies and this time, he puts on his head on my chest and is basically now suffocating me.
"Please?" I beg and try to get him off of me.
"No." He mumbles.
"Elijah, I said please!" Which is a word I don't say often unless I'm being serious or with my sister or parents.
"I already let you leave me alone basically the whole day and night yesterday. I'm not going to fucking let you do it again."
"Your mother asked me to have breakfast with her so I have to." I begin to run my fingers through Elijah's hair without even realizing it. "Your hair is so damn soft."
"Your skin is so damn soft. How do you always keep your scent lasting the whole day?" He asks and I smile.
