Chapter 23

Dawn stood in a trance as flash backs of a man in complete darkness surrounded in her head, the ability to move was gone she was paralyzed in fear as a memory popped into her head

Dawns flashback

"why me? I'm nothing special" Dawn said hoping to wake up from this nightmare.

"oh but Dawn you are" the man stated "I have waited for you for a thousand years" his smirk stayed constant on his face and a spark of wickedness glinted in his eyes, it scared her. "you are going to be one of the most powerful supernatural creatures on earth" honesty in every word he said.

"but why me?" Dawn asked again

"because you beauty can make men drop to their knees with one look, your voice is compelling. you can seduce anyone without even trying sometimes without even realising, you have the most feared family in existence wrapped around your finger." he started laughing like it was the most funniest thing in the world "when you went missing they were like dogs with their tails between their legs"

Dawn didn't say anything processing what Cade had just said he leaned down to whisper in her ear "your the perfect person to be a siren" he moved back to look at her in the eye grinning evilly.

"what do you need me to do?" Dawn said in a monotone voice like it was out of her will to do anything else, like someone else was controlling her words.

"I want you to kill"

Dawns memory ended and her eyes widened in fear and she stared to move backwards regaining her ability to move. the man now known as Cade started to move towards her but she started to run away and Cade followed

as she was running she had bumped into someone "oh I'm so sorry" Dawn apologized as she turned back to look at Cade who was coming closer and closer

"its alright Dawn" the person said and Dawn snapped her head to see Marcel, Davina and Josh "are you okay?" Marcel asked seeing her frantic self

"no, I need um" Dawn said looking back to see Cade gone and she let out a breath of relief

"you need what?" Josh asked

"I need Klaus" Dawn said "or Kol, Elijah I just need somebody" Dawn said stressed and Marcel nodded and pulled his phone out and called Klaus

"Marcel" Klaus said through the phone

"Klaus" Marcel said back

"what's wrong?" Klaus asked

"Dawn she needs you it looks like she running from someone" Marcel replied

"Elijah should be their with her, where is he" Klaus asked angrily annoyed at his brother

"I don't know, he isn't here" Marcel said he then looked over to Dawn "he asked where Elijah was"

"oh I told him to go get his girl" Dawn answered shortly which made all three of them furrow there eyebrows and Klaus sighed down the phone knowing what she was talking about

"its fine he will be here soon and we will both be there can you take her to the compound and look after her please Marcellus?" Klaus practically begged to Marcel worried about Dawn

"yes of course" Marcel said and hung up the phone "lets get you back to the compound" he said with a smile and Dawn nodded softly "you two are coming to" Marcel said referring to Davina and Josh

Elijah was at the bayou to find Hayley but was met with Niklaus "Niklaus move please"

"sorry brother but we have to get back to the compound" Klaus said with a sympathy look and Elijah looked at him confused

"why what's happened?" Elijah asked

"I don't know but it has something to do with Dawn" Klaus replied

"what is she okay" 'Lijah asked worried immediately regretting leaving her alone

"yes Marcellus found her and he's taking her to the compound" Klaus informed and Elijah nodded and they both walked through forest to the car "oh and call Kol tell him, Freya and Rebekah to also go to the compound because she will want him" Klaus said and Elijah nodded

after Elijah called Kol he turned to Klaus "do you think this could be something to do with the thing Rebekah and Freya found?" Elijah asked

"maybe" Klaus replied not knowing the answers

Marcel sat Dawn down on the sofa "are you okay" he asked as she just stared at the wall in a trance "Dawn?" he asked trying to catch her attention

she moved her head to look at him and she nodded taking a breath of relief, suddenly the door burst open and in came Kol, Rebekah and Freya. Kol immediately rushed to Kol "Darling are you okay" he said pulling her into a hug

Dawn sniffled and pulled him closer to her "yeah I'm fine" she pulled out of the hug and gave him a long kiss "it was him" she said staring into his eyes with a blank look and it scared him, he had never seen that look in her eyes before

"Darling who was it and where is Elijah?" Kol asked confused

"him..." she repeated "it was him..." Dawn started to hyperventilate "he turned me into" she kept cutting her self off as tears fell from her ocean blue eyes and the gruesome memories of all the people she killed starting to flash in her head "make it stop, please make it stop" she said as her brain started to hurt

"its okay darling I'm here" Kol said bringing her back into a hug and they both sat on the sofa while Davina, Josh, Freya, Marcel and Rebekah watched in awe of the couple and also in concern for Dawn

Dawn ended up falling asleep in Kol's arms and Elijah and Klaus walked into the compound "is everything okay?" Elijah asked, Kol nodded and carefully picked Dawn up bridal style and put her to bed and he sat next to her and put the blanket over her

Meanwhile...

"what's wrong with Kol?" Klaus asked Freya and Rebekah

"he's a little mad at Elijah for leaving her alone" Freya answered nervously

"she said i could go and she is really convincing" Elijah said in a kind of child like voice "I'm sorry" he apologized guiltily

"its fine 'Lijah you didn't know" Rebekah said with a soft smile

"thankyou Marcellus for making sure she was alright when we couldn't" Klaus said to Marcel who nodded and left with Josh and Davina

Kol walked down stairs with an angry look "what the bloody hell Elijah" Kol said pissed off with his brother "how could you leave her, after all she's been through now she's traumatized that she cant make a full sentence" Kol said stressed out

"knock it off Kol" Rebekah said standing up for her brother "Dawn was the one who convinced him to go and we all know how convincing she is and plus he didn't know that this was going to happen"

Kol sighed stressed out "okay, okay I'm just" Kol paused sighing again "I'm just worried about her"

"we know Kol" Freya said coming up to him and giving him a hug "and she's a strong girl, she will be okay"
