"Camila, seriously. Are you listening to me?"

Gretchen says blasting me out of my bubble. "Yeah, I heard you sorry. I spaced out." I say as she sighs. Today I've been concerning about Alejandro he hasn't come home since last week.

I've been kinda worried, Dante has been coming home taking some clothes for him, I know he's busy but he should give himself a break. "Coffee's served!" The waitress endorsed as I sighed and told Gretchen I'll grab the coffee.

"Here's your two iced coffee ma'am with two slices of tiramisu." The waitress said as I paid her and gave her a tip. I grabbed the tray and went to my and Gretchen's table.

I sat down and we both began to eat. "Cam, you've been spacing out lately, are you okay...?" She let out worriedly. "I'm fine Gretchen." I fibbed. "Cam, if you have a problem you know you can tell me right?" She clarifies and I nod.

"I know, it just that-" I said but I was cut off by my ringing phone. "I'll just take this," I affirmed and she nodded. I took my phone and stepped out of the cafe.

I looked at the caller and saw it was Alejandro, why would he call me?

OTP:

"Hello?" I said.

"Camila, Padre, and Madre are inviting us for dinner, I will be picking you up at 5 p.m. sharp." I hear him say in one breath, even on the phone I could still hear his harsh and annoyed tone.

"Oka-" I was about to speak but he hung up on me. Seriously?!

*End of conversation*

I sighed and looked at my watch. It was 3 p.m. I went back inside and chatted with Gretchen.

It was Friday and we would always meet every day if she had time. I was delighted since she was my best friend and she was like my sister.

I looked at my heels and quickly bent down to fix the straps. After that, I quickly grabbed my purse and checked my reflection in the mirror. Today I was sporting a white off-shoulder dress that halted right at my knees.

It was a formal and charming choice and I liked it. I sauntered downstairs and saw Dante waiting. "Camila, good afternoon." Dante proclaimed merrily. "Good afternoon too," I acknowledged as he reached out his hand for mine.

He roamed me out of the house and sent me to the car as we talked. "Thanks, Dante," I said and snickered at him and he chuckled in return. I sat inside the car and my eyes immediately settled on Alejandro.

He was wearing a Louie Vuitton suit. It pleased his muscular figure. "Hi," I said as he looked at me up and down with his distant gaze. I expected him to reply but instead, he just swiveled his eyes and went back to his laptop. Great!

The whole drive was uncomfortable all I could hear was Alejandro thumping on his laptop's keyboard, while I was on my phone. When the car stopped I felt my breathing shortly went to normal.

Alejandro stepped out of the car and opened the door for me. I hopped out of the car and he placed his hands on mine. His hand felt soft and fitted my petite figure. I glanced at him and he just gave me a snob look and dragged me inside.

"Good evening, Mr. Huxley and Mrs. Huxley. Welcome to Huxley Residents, please follow me." A girl told. I presume she's a worker here. She was fluttering and looking at Alejandro, the unfortunate part was he was grinning.

But what can I do, he doesn't love me, plus, I don't love him, right?

"Smile." He whispers to me and I nodded. Likewise, what was I supposed to do this guy frightens the heck out of me! I sighed as we both made our way to I presume the Dining room. The house was alluring, it had embellishments, portraits, and little garnishes that made the house have a welcoming vibe.

When we strode into the Dining room, Maria and Pietro were we're patiently waiting. "Madre, Padre," Alejandro speaks that caught Maria and Pietro's attention. "Alejandro, Camila dear, I'm delighted you both came," Maria called out and stood up and gave me and Alejandro a hug.

"Hi, mother," I say politely and hugged her. "You look, extraordinary dear." Maria flattered me. "Thank you, you look charming yourself mother," I confess to her.

"Alejandro, how are you Mio Figlio?" Pietro lets out as he walks up to Alejandro. "Very good, Padre," Alejandro acknowledged. "Everyone I made my special dish today. Now let's all eat while it's still warm." Maria announces delightedly.

We all made our way to the table and I and Alejandro sat together, even just by sitting beside him I already felt uneasy. "Dear, are you okay?" Maria says worriedly breaking out me out of my bubble.

"Yes, I'm fine," I said unsure.  She nodded and the maids brought the food it was called Panzanella, it was one of my favorites when I and my dad would go to Italian restaurants it was constantly my first choice and only.

I took a bite and was fascinated it tasted so savory. "How is it, Dear?" Pietro asked. "It's so delicious, I like it," I say and a smile rose on Maria's face. "Thank you, dear, I'm delighted you like it this also is Alejandro's favorite dish." She explained and I looked at her and look at Alejandro who has just ignored me.

"That's great," I said and went back to eating as I listened to their conversation quietly. Maria's specialty was great! "Alejandro, why don't you take Camila on a Honeymoon, it will be a great vacation for you both, don't you think?" Pietro says as my eyes widen.

"Well, we're not-" I was gonna say something but Alejandro cut me off.

"I'm planning to take her to Italy, for a week."
