as you prepared to leave work for the day, you received a text message. you picked your phone up from your desk and saw a text message from johnny. you unlocked your phone to text him back.

hey, when do you get
off of work tonight?

i'm about to leave the office
now. what's up?

[ johnny ]
let's meet up and take
the subway home together.

[ y/n ]
okay. i'll see you soon.

you put your headphones on and waved at one of your coworkers before leaving the building. you walked for a few blocks and reached the subway station. you looked around and took your phone out to see if johnny had texted you, but he hadn't.

you decided to call him. the phone went straight to voicemail so you ended the call. you tried again but it went straight to voicemail again.

"y/n!" you looked around and found johnny in the crowd. you walked over to him while taking your earbuds out, "hey."

"hi," you smiled at him. "shall we go?" you asked and put your earbuds in your bag.

"yea," he nodded. both of you entered the subway station and walked to the tracks that would take you to the station closest to his place. "did you eat dinner?" he asked you.

"no, what about you?" you asked.

he shook his head, "how about we order something tonight?" he suggested.

"yea, sure. do you want me to order?" you asked him.

"yea, my phone died on my way here," he mentioned.

"okay," you took your phone out and looked to see if you had service. "order what you want," you said and handed your phone to him.

then, a subway train went by. you noticed that it was the train you two needed to get on.

"come on," you said to johnny once the train stopped and the doors opened. both of you got onto the train, but it was pretty crowded since it was rush hour.

"oh, doyoung just texted you asking if me and you wanted to go out to eat with them," johnny mentioned. "wanna go?"

"yea, sure," you agreed. johnny texted doyoung back on your phone for you and gave you your phone. "do we need to get off at another station?" you asked him.

"i told him we'd meet them at the dorm, so we can get off at my stop," he replied and the train came to a stop. people started moving around so you and johnny decided to sit down. "how was work?" he asked you.

"just as usual. we were supposed to have a meeting with distributors in canada, but stuff changed. i have to go in early tomorrow though," you sighed, "so if i spend the night at the dorm, then i might accidentally wake you and haechan up."

"well, if you have to go in early, then wouldn't it be better to leave from my place?" johnny asked.

"yea, it would," you replied. "why were you over here? work?"

"i filmed a jcc, it was fun," he mentioned with a smile.

"didn't you have practice, too?" you asked him.

johnny nodded, "yea. we did earlier but then i went out," he explained. "hey, after we eat with the guys, how about we go out on a little date? we haven't been out in awhile," he suggested and you smiled.

"sure," you smiled and he grabbed you hand. "love you."

"love you too."
