Darwin and Chase finally got home to Idaho, but that doesn't mean their suffering has finally ended. One day, Darwin's peaceful life was ruined, he has no choice but to go to Colorado and make things right.
I hear a hissing noise close to my foot, "Huh?" I see the coyote holding a small handmade bomb, "Shit!" I tried to jump away and the bomb bursts a large cloud of smoke, I started coughing. The coyote swings his tomahawk at me but I quickly dodged his attack and kicked him to the cloud of smoke, I ran away and take cover, "Faye! Find some cover!" I said as the whole library's a goddamn war zone, gunshots are everywhere.
The place went silent and they all vanished, even Tom. Are we playing hide and seek now? "Shit, where'd those assholes go?" I try to listen for noise, can't hear a damn thing—they're good, but I'm better. I crafted a spark trap made from machine parts and some water. I maneuver around the library and placed one, I crafted another and placed one near the exit.
I slowly try to take a peek out of the shelf and a raccoon shoots an arrow at me, it got my shoulder. I screamed and fell, I started gritting my teeth as I take cover and snap the arrow in half and pull the two halves out. "Son of a bitch, I'll kill you first." I draw out my shotgun and search for the raccoon.
I got out of cover and aim my shotgun, no one's there. "Shit, where'd he go?" I rush to another bookshelf. I heard a loud crackle and a groan, someone went to my trap, the sparks are coming from the distance, I rushed to that spot and found a fox injured on the ground, "Gotcha." I take out my spiked bat and was about to swing, then a wolf tackled me and tries to shove a knife to my throat.
We both growled then a bolt shot his arm, "Nell look out!" It was Tom who shot him. The wolf howled in pain and a coyote grazed my cheek with his tomahawk and I shoved both of them away and ran to cover, gunshots are fired and one got my leg, I screamed.
I take behind another bookshelf again, I wrap my wounds with cloth and pour them with alcohol, I gritted my teeth and grunted. I found Faye standing up from the desk she was hiding and start shooting, "Stay back!" She shouted.
Faye got shot and screamed, she fell and curl up. "Oh shit, Faye!" I got out and grazed the fox with my pistol, he screamed and fall back. "Don't worry, I'm here." I grab a cloth and wrap her torso, Faye groaned and clutched her fists. "Made this one for you." She lends me a small sack of explosives, "Thanks." I got out of cover and search for those bastards.
A tomahawk was thrown and I quickly dodged it, I shot the coyote—he gurgled with blood and collapsed. "Frank! No!" A fox shouted and tried to shoot me, Tom from the upstairs shot the fox in the leg. The fox screamed and crawled behind a desk, "Kieran!" The wolf slides and takes cover with him, he's patching him up.
An arrow whistled and shot Tom from upstairs. Tom screamed and crashed to a bookshelf and collapsed, then another arrow from behind grazed my arm. I quickly turn and threw the explosive pouch at the raccoon, he kneeled and covered his eyes. I grabbed him and stood up with my arms around his throat, he's being choked a little.
"You fucking asshole!" I growled, "Get off me!" The raccoon sobbed, "Jake hold on!" The wolf shouted, I started choking him, his body started to jerk around, his tears touched my arms. The raccoon stopped struggling and I slammed his unconscious body to the floor. "Oh god no!" The wolf screamed.

Faye sticks beside me with her gun ready, Tom recovered from his wounds and carefully gets up with his crossbow ready. "Wolf! Get up!" I shouted, the wolf slowly stood up with his paws up. The wolf looks angry, "You fucking killed them! W-We just wanted to know where she is dammit!" He yelled. "Drop your guns and come closer!" I said, he slowly approaches me.
"Darwin?" The fox said exhaustingly, "It's okay Kieran, I'm fine..." The wolf looks at the bodies of his friends, his eyes got watery, and sobbed. "Faye, shoot his leg." I ordered, "Shit." The wolf tried to run but Faye shot him, he's on the floor.
The wolf won't stop screaming, he's trying to crawl away from me. "You're pathetic, it was stupid for you to come here. Now both of your friends are fucking dead." I kicked him. "You shouldn't have messed with us." I grab him and look at each other face to face. "I'm gonna finish this right now." I grab his neck and raise him high, strangling him.
The wolf's legs are trying to kick me, "N-No!" The wolf begged. I stare at his red teary eyes as I look at his life fading away, the fox got out and stood up. "I surrender! Please don't kill my dad!" The fox begged.
"What?" Faye asked as her tail suddenly drops, "Please stop this! He's my dad!" He started crying. "Nell! Stop this! Let him go!" Faye's shaking my other arm and I look at her then the wolf, I drop the wolf and he gasped for air and coughed.
The fox rushed to him and hugged, "I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!" He said, the wolf keeps coughing and sobbing at the same time. The fox sees the bodies of his friends and screamed, he cried even more. "Nell... what have we done?" Faye drops her pistol, "I... I don't know anymore." I said and turn back.
I went silent for a moment. "She's... she's held hostage at Harvester Tower... good luck." I then walk away with Faye, Tom joined us and decided to leave this place... I'm heading home...
