🕰⏳Chapter 23⏳🕰 (The aftermath part 6)

As if the Gods decided that they would have some mercy, pops rendered the room with a much calmer dad, well, he didn't look like he was about to have a mental break down so at least he was a little calmer. 

When they saw that Hitoshi was by side awake and half panicked, the new that I needed some help, so they put on their hero faces and smiled brightly, well pops did, dad was less threatening...

"Hello little listener! Do you know who am I? I'm Present Mic! Have you ever heard of my Radio Show? Oh and this with me is Eraserhead! He is an amazing underground hero don't you think?"

"Hey, is a pleasure to meet you bud"

"Y-you are the Eraserhead" he whispered but both his hands covered it and his eyes widened as if he made something wrong...

"Yes, yes I am" Answered dad clearly worried

The boy nodded instead of answering

"Hitoshi, we would like to tell you that from now on, at least until the day we find a good home for you, you'll be living with me, Hizashi and my son Tenko, I hope we can help you with everything you need and I hope that once we find you a family you can live in peace" Dad said

The kid blinked looking shocked, it didn't have that spark of hope in his eyes like the kids in the orphanages that thought that would be adopted, no the child was broken and even if he may find a new family one day, I'll make sure he is happy till there...

With that, Pops and dad left the room once more but this time a nurse came in and asked me to go with them since she has to check on him now that he is finally awake.

Dad went to resolve legal problems about fostering a kid while pops brought me to the lobby for us to talk about the new addition to the family

"Baby, I know this is sudden, I know you are new here to and I know that if you feel unconfortable or anythin-"

"Pops, chill, I would be more than happy to help the child find a happy home like ours, I know that things may change but I can't say that I'm not happy about it, even if this was a surprise for me, even if I have to share my room or anything, I'm just happy for you guys!"

"Oh, my baby boy I'm so proud!" He said as he wiped a tear

After that, things went really quick, we would daily visit Hitoshi-kun, see if he is getting better, if he has any problems or just to make sure he wouldn't be lonely, me and him beging to get along with each other even if he doesn't speaks much, we respect this, we always do, I even decided to show him a JSL book for him and explain what is it and he loved it, I think it makes him feel better at least, for me the only thing that makes me feel better is that his new room at our house is already ready for him.

The room is simple, a black mattres with some yellow pillows, a desk for him to do his homework in the future, a book shelf and a huge Eraserhead poster, yes, you hear me! I was so jealous, until dad got me a different one that I put in my wall of course.

The cats didn't like the new room at first but now that they finally got the chance to explore after we confirmed that Hitoshi isn't alergic, well they don't scratch our doors anymore

It was only after a whole week that Hitoshi could come home, yesterday the doctors had cleared him and today we prepared his closet for the new human being, we didn't brought the cats to the hospital but we made sure to get some photos to calm him down if needed and so, we entered the room

"Hey bud! How are you?" I asked with a cheerful voice

'I'm fine' He signed

he has been training a lot but sometimes he still messes up, this is when I usually jump in to help him

"Well, today is a very special day, do you know why?"

He shook his head

"Well today you are leaving this hospital!" He seemed shocked than sad and than scared frightened almost

"N-no"

Oh he thought he was going back to the orphanage...

"Bud, you are never going back there, you are coming with us, yiu are coming home!"

Now he looked shocked as he realised what was happned.

After that, he slowly picked himself up and a grabbed hsi hand gently, like this we walked to the car with a new addition to our family, the perfect one....
