Brothers (Part 1)

Chapter 2 - First Breakout

Seitarou: "We've had a breakout!! Five escaped prisoners at large!!"

P.A: "Prisoners on the run! Security level in B4!! Lockdown initiate! GO GO GO!!! Go Go Go Go Go!!!"

The five of us make it outside and ran along the wall. There were spotlights circling us and sirens blaring. As we turned a corner, we look up and see a security camera. Uno goes back and makes a silly face in it before continuing. Suddenly a huge door closes in front of us.

Uno: "Well, look at that. We're trapped like rats."

Nico: "Ooo... This is like the time I escaped from jail in Chicago! Such a good time!"

We continued running to the left.

Uno: "I'll tell you one thing. Hajime's definitely going to bust a band when he sees us escape."

Another door closes in front of us. We continued to the right.

Rock: "I get it. They want to corral us back to block 20."

Uno: "They're welcome to try. I can't wait to see what kind of booby traps they've got waiting for us next."

Jyugo: "Doesn't matter what security this place has, they aren't catching us."

Another door tries to shut us in, but we managed to duck under it. Jyugo was the last under and had to slide.

Jinx: "Are you alright?"

Jyugo: "Yeah..."

He stood up.

Nico: "So much for their high-tech security."

Nico took a few steps forward. Uno grabbed his shoulder, stopping him.

Uno: "Careful now..."

Nico: "What's the matter?"

Uno: "I just had a little hunch..."

Jinx: "I smell something strange about this room."

Uno: "I gotcha, lil sis."

Uno pulled out a playing card and threw it. I jumped as the card got caught on a laser, caught fire, and disintegrated.

Jinx: "Woah... are they trying to kill us...?"

Nico: "You are like anime awesome!"

Uno drew some lines on the concrete.

Uno: "The lasers are laid out like so."

Jyugo: "There's no way you memorised it."

Uno: "Had another hunch."

Rock: "So, can we still trust it?"

Uno: "When have my hunches lead us astray?"

Rock: "Not once."

Uno: "Then let's dance."

I watched Uno lead Nico and Rock though the invisible lasers. I turned to Jyugo.

Jinx: "Jyugo, I smell something else."

Jyugo: "Oh yeah?"

Jinx: "Mm, it's a person... maybe a guard, but it's an old scent. It's coming from there, on that wall."

Jyugo feels the wall where I just pointed, until he pressed a spot and a keypad popped out. He turned to me with a proud smile.

Jyugo: "Great job, Jinx. Good eye- I mean, nose."
