For almost a week after their last conversation, Sean kept apologizing to Amy for his past behavior. He visited her everyday and tried to get her to forgive him. Amy whose mind was already made up, felt herself softening towards him as the days went by. His apologies seemed too sincere to ignore. If he says he's sorry, who was she not to forgive him? She decided to put the past behind her and eventually forgave him.

They spent the following week taking a tour around the city. She took him to the SAP center stadium first, where they watched a hockey game. Amy wasn't a hockey fan, but she definitely enjoyed the tasty burgers at the arena. After that, they went to the oldest neighborhood in San Jose, the San Pedro market square. Sean thought the place was amazing, as one could find any type of culinary delight there, from Italian to Asian and Cuban, just name your choice. By the time they left the place, they were stuffed.

The next day, Amy took Sean to her favorite place. The Municipal Rose Garden. She and Mandy used to go there to appreciate true beauty and take selfies. The garden is so attractive with its green lawns and colorful blooms. You can find any color of rose in the garden, as it is dedicated only to roses. They also took a tour of the famous Winchester mystery house.

Although Amy found its architectural design as one of a kind, she didn't like the idea of being in the place for too long because she has heard so many spooky stories about the mansion. Sean being a typical boy, found it fascinating and wanted to see more. Amy couldn't pretend anymore, so she told him that she was going to wait for him outside. Sean couldn't help but laugh at Amy. He found it funny that she was afraid of a house.

In order to help ease her mind, he decided not to complete his tour of the house. So, rather than go home, they stopped by a restaurant to have lunch before going to the San Jose museum of art.

If there's one thing Amy realized from her outing with Sean, it was that he loved food. That was something they had in common. But of late, she is watching her diet to keep in shape as she always wants to look perfect for Bryan.

After the one week tour around San Jose, Sean decided to let Amy have some time to herself while he does some catching up with his childhood best friend, Chase. He wouldn't deny the fact that he always wants to be around Amy, but he has to control his feelings so he doesn't lose the little friendship he has with her.

Amy was lying on the couch chatting away on her phone with her best friend when Henry walked into the living room.

"Hey dad" Amy casually greeted while laughing at something Mandy said.

Henry, who just finished working in his study joined her on the couch, placing her legs on his lap.

"Is that your boyfriend?" He began, giving her feet a little massage.

"Dad!"

"What? It's just a harmless question"

"I don't think you consider Mandy as my boyfriend"

"Well, it depends" Henry teased.

"Gosh, dad!" Amy covered her face to conceal her red cheeks.

"But I'm certain there's a lucky guy" Henry continued, as he stopped what he was doing to give his complete attention to his daughter.

This was a really important subject for him, as he wanted to know how Amy feels about settling down.

When her dad stopped massaging her feet, Amy realized that the conversation had gone from casual to serious. Why is her dad suddenly interested in her personal life? She wondered, sitting up properly on the couch.

"I know I haven't been the best dad because I work a lot, but I still want to be a part of your life, no matter how old you get" Henry said in that fatherly voice Amy couldn't deny.

She instantly felt bad for keeping her three years relationship with Bryan away from her dad. As much as she was itching to tell her dad everything, she couldn't. It wasn't in her place to reveal their relationship.

"Why are you asking about that all of a sudden? Do you have someone in mind?" She tried to make a joke of the conversation, not because she wanted to, but because she didn't want her dad to notice that she was hiding something from him.

"As a matter of fact, I do" Henry smiled.

"You're not being serious"

"When have I ever joked about something this important?"

"Dad, this is the 21th century" Amy stated, hoping her dad was only trying to pull her legs.

"Then, you better introduce me to that boyfriend of yours"

"Seriously?"

"Yeah, seriously... I need to not only know the name of the guy, or girl you're seeing, but also see his or her face. That way they don't mess with my angel even if they wanted to" he paused.

"Besides, this isn't the time of Romeo and Juliet" Henry concluded.

"No one is going to mess with me, dad" Amy assured her dad with a fake determined look.

Henry laughed at his daughter's poor attempt to look serious. He took Amy's refusal to give him a name as a sign that she wasn't in a serious relationship because she doesn't keep anything from him.

Maybe she was still trying to explore since she didn't get to do that in high school, he thought to himself. If only he knew the real reason behind her silence.
