I had to go back to Bangalore in a week because of my work.
I stayed with Raya and Akshara.

I reached office, when a worried Gautham came to me.

"Devi... Are you guys fine", he asked

" Gautham.. Let's not talk about that shall we", I said smiling lightly

"Sure,  You must have heard, I'm marrying Raya", he said

I did hear it from her, but I didn't probe as I was in my own world.

" Oh.. Ya.. I wanted to talk about that, what made you change your mind? You are sure right?", I asked

"Yes, Devi", he said and I could sense hesitation on his expression.

" What? Be sure before taking such a decision", I said

He nodded

"I am", he said

What made him suddenly decide to marry her? I wondered, but he said he was sure.. As long as both are happy, I had to talk to Raya about this..

I went back to my work..

Devi wouldn't like it if I told one of the reason I was marrying Raya was to solve the problem between her and Vikram.

What use was it if Vikram didn't know. I had to bring them together..

I took a deep breath, ready to face anger, and went to Vikram's office

I took an appointment and entered his room..

Vikram looked up at me, with a frown on his face..

"I'm just here to tell you that you misunderstood, I m not in love with Devi, all that was the past,
In fact I'm marrying Raya", I said quickly before he could say anything

" Sit down", he said

I sat..

"So.. How is your company doing, your main company which became almost bankrupt? ", he asked

What, why was he asking that?

" Good", I said

He nodded

"So.. You are marrying Raya? Congrats", he said

" Vikram . It's a misunderstanding, I'm just her best friend ", I said

" I know ", he said

" Oohh" I said

" And I'm sorry for hitting you like that,.. Will you forgive me? ", he asked

I was shocked, was he asking this!!

" Hmm.. I can't forget all the insult at once, I can try ", I said

He nodded

" Thanks.. It means a lot that you came so far for her, you are a good friend and you supported her throughout and I should be thankful of that.. ", he said

Wow, Vikram seemed to be in a good mood!

" Ok.. Then why don't you try to fix things up with her ", I asked

" That... May be out of my hands Gautham, but for now,.. I need your help.
I know you do, but I want you to take care of her, in case there are any issues, and do call me and update me,..
I'll be ready to help what ever you people need.. But don't tell her that you are contacting me.. Can you do that?" , he asked
