(A/N- Can I take a second to rant about how much difficulty I had choosing which song to use for this one-shot? No? Well too bad! I had so many songs I wanted to do (and probably about half of them were from Attack on Titan), but I finally decided on the AoT song that I can sing a lot of the Japanese version of, which is Jiyuu no Tsubasa!
I'm using the English translation of the original lyrics, not the English version's lyrics. So yes, I'm aware it doesn't look like it rhymes/works, but it does! About the reader in this, she's not a professional singer, just someone who can sing very well. People tell me I have a very good singing voice, but I have a TERRIBLE case of stage fright. I'm fine around my close friends, but in front of anyone I don't know very well, my legs freeze and BLERGH! Anyway, enjoy the story.
Also, the Alphonse plush has a torso now, but I can't attach the WIP 2 picture because I can't have two media thingy-ma-jigs on the story. Dang it. Okay, mini-rant over. On to the story!)

"I'm heading out to get them from the train station, are you sure you don't want to come (Y/n)?" Winry called to you.

You glanced up from the sink, pausing in your washing of the dishes. You wanted to go to pick the brothers up from the station, but your mind had already made plans about what you were doing before they arrived. You had the urge to sing your heart out, but there was no way you were going to do so in front of anyone else, especially Alphonse.

Truth be told, you loved him, but much like your stage fright, you were too scared to tell him. So you've let it be for the time-being.

"No, I'm sure. I'll just see them when they get here," you responded.

Winry gave you a curious look, then simply headed out the door. "Suit yourself."

You waited a moment, letting silence ensue, before you started to move. Aunt Pinako was running errands, so she wasn't at home. Den had followed Winry to get the Elric brothers. You were the only one at home. Which meant you could sing as much, or as loud, as you wanted to.

You started humming to warm up your voice, and stretched so you would be comfortable as well. What was the point of singing if you couldn't dance around as you did so?

"Well friend, now here is your victory, this is the first Gloria," you began singing. The words flowed with ease as you sang, but it had taken lots of practice to do that. The lyrics weren't in English after all. "O my friend, let's celebrate this victory for the next fight!" You began humming the instrumental part as you closed your eyes and danced around the room, not caring how ridiculous you looked. It's not like anyone would see you like this, anyways.

Outside, Winry had, instead of meeting them at the train station, run into the brothers on her way to the station.

"What are guys doing here already? I thought the train was coming later," Winry said questioningly.

"The train ended up arriving earlier than expected, so we decided to just start heading to your house instead of waiting around," Edward explained, petting Den.

Alphonse glanced around, then asked the burning question. "Where's (Y/n)?"

Edward and Winry gave him a knowing look. "You like her, don't you Al?" Winry teased, grinning.

Alphonse immediately grew flustered, and waves his hands in denial. "N-no I d-don't!"

"Then why did you just stutter?" Edward smirked.

"Brother!"

Winry chuckled, then at last responded, "(Y/n)'s waiting at my house. I'm honestly not sure why she didn't come." She paused for a moment, as if in thought, then turned around. "Welp, let's head back."
