It's been a few weeks since Arya went back to her condo and both herself and Ethan have been drowning themselves in work to keep from thinking about the other. Not that it was working on either end. They'd both only been driving themselves crazy, along with everyone around them. Ethan for one had become more strict and mean in the workplace, causing him to struggle to seal deals that normally came easy to him. Whereas Arya had become more distant and guarded around everyone. She'd even been staying late in the office, driving herself crazy double checking everyone's work.

James took notice of it all, and not only did he take notice, the gossip columns had taken notice as well. The talk surrounding Arya and Ethan's relationship had only tripled since no one had spotted the couple together in weeks. The same couple they were able to spot together every other day. It didn't take long before the breakup rumors began to circulate. James knew he would have to do something quick to not only shed a positive light onto the couple, but get them back happy with each other as well. He'd had meetings with both of them and both looked like a shell of their normal selves.

He knew the perfect opportunity to get them back together would be requiring them both to attend the Thanksgiving Charity Gala that his wife's company sponsored every year. He knew it would not only debunk the breakup rumors but it would also hopefully re-spark their flame with each other. He'd witnessed how amazing they could be with each other and he refused to allow it to die and not come back. He and his wife had invited them both to a brunch this morning so they could discuss the importance of the gala. They didn't inform either of them that the other was coming, so they were only hoping that it turned out good.

Arya sat in the back of the car that James had sent for her. She'd denied the offer multiple times, yet he insisted on someone driving her across town to his home. She used this time to work. She found herself working outside of the office a lot lately. A habit she hadn't realized had gotten so bad. She felt the car come to a stop and a few moments late the back door opened, causing her to look up in confusion as Ethan slid into the car.

"Ethan?"

"I figured he would do something like this. Hey, Arya." She hadn't heard him address her by her name since their third date, not like she's heard him address her at all in the past few weeks.

"Hi." She gave him a small smile and turned back to her laptop. Ethan twisted up his face when he realized what she was doing, on a Saturday morning at that.

"Can you save that real quick." Arya was slightly confused by the request, but saved the document anyways. As soon as Ethan seen she saved it he closed her laptop and took it out of her hands, placing it on the floor of the car. "That one night was okay, because you were stressed about the meeting that following morning, but please don't make this a habit."

"It's just-" Ethan shook his head, cutting her sentence off before it could begin.

"It doesn't matter. We don't bring work home, remember?" Arya stared at the side of his face, not having a response for him. He was right. She hadn't realized that it had developed into a habit. A habit that she needs to break.
