Just another warning for those people who need it. The chapter does have some gore described and just like the other chapter it's going to be between the two bolded lines, so if you're sensitive to that kind of stuff, just don't read in between the two bolded parts. Thank you and enjoy!

"Alright, you guys ready?" Steve asked the kids from his crouching position.

"Yeah."

"Ready."

"Ready."

"Light her up," Dustin said beside Steve who grabbed the lighter from his pocket.

"I am in such deep shit," Steve muttered to himself. The kids watched as Steve lit up the lighter and threw the lighter in the hub.

***

"You good?" Hopper asked Nikki who was standing beside him as they both looked at the Demodogs.

She nodded as they went into the room, Hopper ready to shoot with his gun and Nikki ready to blast anyone with the blue orb sitting in her hand.

***

They kids watched as the lighter hit the ground immediately setting everything aflame.

***

Nikki and Hopper edged closer to the gate as shrieks from the monsters stopped them to try to figure out what was happening.

"Are you doing that?" Hopper asked her.

She quickly shook her head just as shocked as he was. "No, I'm not doing that."

Hopper lowered his gun as the blue faded from Nikki's hand. "What the hell?"

***

"Let's go," Steve said, noticing how big the fire was getting. "Go, go, go!"

Steve led them away, yelling at them to keep up as they made their way back through the tunnels.

***

"Something led them away," Nikki said, as the last of the demodogs left.

Chief, you are there? Jonathan's voice came through Hopper's radio. Chief, do you copy?

Hopper reached for the radio as El grabbed Nikki's hand and stood beside her.

"Yeah, I copy," Hopper spoke into his radio.

Close it.

Nikki looked at El who took a shaky breath.

"It'll be okay," Nikki gave El's hand a light squeeze.

The three got onto a shaft that brought them down to the middle of it all.

"Oh my," Nikki sighed, wondering how El could do this by herself.

She's not by herself, Nikki reminded herself. You're going to help.

***

"Oh, my God! Oh, my God! Oh, my God!" Steve muttered as he still led the group away from the hub. He checked their map as they came to an intersection and yelled over his shoulder to follow him.

"Help!" Mike voice carried to the people in front of him. "Help! Help! Help!"

"Mike!" The group ran back to help him.

***

Hopper stopped the shaft as El gave Nikki's hand a tight squeeze. Hopper looked at the two girls, who both returned his gaze.

El finally let go of Nikki's hand as she readied herself to close the gate. Nikki turned away from her sister to keep an eye out for demodogs.

We are not done with them yet, I know it.
