"How are you feeling?" Haz asked Tom

"I don't know, I don't know what to feel" Tom replied running his hand through his hair "are you okay?"

"I-I'm just trying to be strong, you know for Zen, it's late, I had to send her home but I don't know I just really hope she wakes up"

"She will, she has to" Tom whispered as he stared into space at her room door, the memory of what just happened four hours ago constantly replaying in his mind...

There were a bunch of different voices that Tom could hear that he couldn't even focus

"Female, age twenty-two, name, Y/N Y/L/N, involved in a hit and run car accident, multiple injuries-"

"She's a little bloated, sir, is she on her period?"

"N-no"

"Quick, get her on here!"

"-broken left leg, head injury-"

"We got a pulse!"

"She's breathing!"

"Sir, you need to tell us what happened, did you see anything?" One of the paramedics asked him

"I-I d-don't know, I don't know " Tom stammered, his eyes filling with tears, as he tried to answer the woman's questions

"Sir, calm down, you need to help us out here, what happened, did you see anything?"

"Umm w-we were coming out of a park and we got into separate cars and s-she was driving in front of me and I was behind and then out of nowhere a-a car ran into hers making it flip on its side a-and then they just drove away and I had to step on my breaks so hard, I got out of the car and there- there was glass shattered everywhere, a-and blood dripping from her head a-and she was unconscious, I tried to get her out carefully but she was stuck and then I called 911" he explained

"Sir, do you have any family or friends here, that you can call?" A man asked

"Umm, I-I can call my best friend" Tom pulled out his phone as fast as he could with his hands shaking like crazy, he dialled in the number and it began to ring

"Hello?"

"Haz!?"

"Tom, are you okay?, did you work things out with Y/N?" Haz said Tom's heart clenched in pain as he heard Haz's voice knowing he had no idea what was going on

"Uhh yeah, e-everything worked out, um-" Tom broke down trying to explain that his best friend was involved in an accident

"Tom! Are you okay?! What happened?!"

"Y-Y/N got into a car accident"

The phone went silent for a minute

"What!" Tom heard a female voice, he guessed that Zendaya was right beside Haz, and she heard what Tom said on the phone

"What! How?"

"Uhh, another car drove straight into her, flipping her car on its side and then the driver just drove away"

"You're telling me it was a fucking hit and run, someone did this to her! " Zendaya shouted in anger but her voice cracking from her tears, Tom nodded even though neither Haz nor Z could see him, he couldn't say anything as he silently cried

"Okay, Tom, where are you?" Haz asked, his voice cracked as he tried not to cry

"Uhm, I'm in the ambulance with her and we are driving to the hospital as fast as we can," he said, his voice shaking, his eyes glancing at the unconscious body in front of him that was on a stretcher, different thoughts running through his mind, he lets out a sob as he thinks about the worst possible outcome that can come out of all this, he holds onto her hand, determined to not let go
