Lycian yells dramatically, pointing towards the school, "Fucking, finally, leaving this hell hole."

His comment made me laugh and I nodded my head in agreement.

"There's a party on tonight to celebrate, you guys coming?" Lycian asks Miya and me.

"Yeah, sure." I smile.

Miya shrugs and slips her arm through my arm, "If she's going, I'm going."

"Where's lover boy?" Lycian asks as he and Ian stroll alongside me.

"He'll be here soon," I tell him, "he had to take care of some last-minute business."

Lycian nods and continues talking to Ian.

Miya, Ian, Lycian, and Elio were all with us as we walked towards the main doors.

We walked in, chatting amongst ourselves as we made our way over to the field where we would be awarded our certificates.

My gaze swept the field; chairs were neatly piled along the grass, and a large platform was in front of us.

Teens sprawled about in robes, conversing amongst themselves, with family and friends smiling and happy in the distance.

Miya pulled my hand and motioned me to follow her. Lycian, Elio and Ian followed me as I walked behind her.

We all sat down and started talking about random things, and while I keep gazing at the clock, my mind goes to Angel.

It was currently 11:45 a.m, and the ceremony started at 12.

We continued to converse until our principal entered and began the ceremony.

Angel and Drake made their way over to us from the crowd.

As Angel sat down next to me, I smiled up at him and he leant down and kissed my cheek. I blushed and laced his hand through mine as we listened for the rest of the time.

We were all graduating two long hours later, and it felt great.

I stood there watching as everyone's parents, siblings, cousins, and family crowded around, taking photos and congratulating one another, some even crying for their daughters and sons.

A small pit of sadness grew in my stomach, though I brushed it aside.

I managed to persuade Angel to take a photo with me after taking several with Ian and Miya, which made me extremely happy.

We all returned to the parking area and to our cars.

Angel and his friends drove to Angel's house, and I trailed close behind.

We arrived at the house in no time, and we all hung around and relaxed for a while until it was time to leave for the party.

I walked upstairs to our room and changed into my party clothes after Angel had gone off with Drake for a while, most likely doing mafia stuff.
